I love to see mama using her hand to scoop those apples into the pie crust. Made me smile 🙂 because I thought about my grandma. That's how real cooks were taught.

I just know y’all were tired when y’all finally finished!!! I don’t even eat apple pie, but that pie looked amazing!!! Look at little Destiny tryna learn how to cook. I felt like I was in the house with y’all while watching! I thoroughly enjoyed sis 💜

I am truly enjoying this “Southern Vibe”. It brings back so many memories of me and my grandmother in the kitchen when I saw Destiny lending a helping hand. Now is the time for her to be in the kitchen, especially being that she wants to be there. She’s going to be a great cook.🙏🏾❤️

I love Margarita! She took me back to the good ole days when she was preparing that apple pie! What a Treat! Destiny I was your age when I started helping my mom cut and clean greens. I helped her prepare Thanksgiving Day Dinner while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade here in Orlando many years ago. Such great memories. Truly enjoyed watching. For a moment I thought I was back in the day at my peoples house in South Carolina, we used to do the exact same thing, every female had something to prep and it was so much fun….. good food, good fun and good family loved it, thank you Yesenia and family.

When y’all were driving down Main Street in Emporia I knew exactly where y’all were and I called every one of the landmarks (courthouse, post office, treasury building, police department) brings back so many fond childhood memories.
