I'm from south africa and we don't celebrate Thanksgiving. But the cooking and baking is all traditional for Eid, our islamic eligious holiday. We end up in the kitchen for two days without sleep just trying to get everything done.

I created a tradition for myself many, many years ago, when I was a teenager, long before I got married. Every Thanksgiving morning, and Christmas morning as well, I make Pillsbury Pop-n-Fresh Orange Danish & Cinnamon Danish for breakfast. I only rarely make them, but love to indulge in them for Thanksgiving morning AND Christmas morning as well(!), but I LOOOOOOVE BOTH flavors!! (Can’t decide which one is my favorite, so I always get one can of each!!) 😍😍😋😋🤤🤤 It’s a quick, & easy breakfast to make, makes the house smell wonderful, and only takes 12 to 15 minutes in the oven, or I could bake them in my toaster oven. So it really doesn’t take much time away from the turkey. But it keeps your tummy full until the main meal is ready later in the day! Make it a tradition of yours in the future... (you WILL thank me!!) 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️😋😋😋😋🍽 You’re welcome. 👍❤️😉😏

I agree, you wait until dinner on Thanksgiving, but I married into a family that eats all day. There are cinnamon rolls and breakfast casserole. Then later their are fruit and veggie trays. Its food all day!

Its amazing how much of energy u have after just having a beautiful baby n 3 other children. Your devotion n hard work is admirable. Alex is a lucky man indeed. Love ur humour n personality.

“Just like your grandma used to make”...My grandma always said the store bought pie crusts are just as good and they don’t take any time!😆 And I have made homemade pie crusts but they never turned out right. I feel like pie crusts are like biscuits; you either know how to make them and you do it well, or you don’t know how and they have the texture of a rock. 😄

And this is why i love your videos. It come naturally. It not fake. Sweet loving caring person that i probably wont get a chance to meet but maybe one day. But this girl is amazing. Girl you rock!

haha... two weeks! Even worse. !!

You made me laugh when you talked about the sour cream and cream cheese. Tears ago my friend was going to give a party for her husband's birthday. She had shopped and gotten ALL the ingredients she would need for the menu. Only problem she bought one cream cheese and needed more for another item on the menu. I had dropped off her daughter at an appointment and was going to the store to get milk. I called from the parking lot before I left after getting the milk. I was told to go back in and get the cream cheese. So I did. Once again I called to tell her I was on the way and was told she had forgotten to get sour cream so once again I went back in the store for a single item(3rd)time. Went to different cashiers so they wouldn't think that I do my shopping one item at a time.

I found you recently and had my first child in October. No joke spent time on Wednesday making Pecan pie and thinking, “I hope she doesn’t wake up hungry. Why am I doing this? I should’ve gotten a pre-made pie crust.” Your “your kitchen, your rules” mantra kept me going:)

Was I the only one who was screaming(in my head) “don’t worry about the brussel sprouts!”, and I was so relieved when she said she didn’t make them the next morning. I’m tired just from watching this video! You amazed me, that’s for sure! Just don’t forget to take care of yourself!
