Thank You Lauren Faust - My Little Pony - Animation

A reminder of the serendipitous nature of life. True story.
I noticed other Thank You Lauren Faust videos posted on KZread, so I've decided to make one myself. I haven't spoken to Lauren, Hasbro, or anyone related to MLP.
Thank you for capturing my imagination at a young age- I never stopped loving animation.
Some background information:
I discovered this connection about a month ago. I didn't know Lauren's last name so I was never able to attach her to any of her projects. When I saw her name posted somewhere regarding the show My Little Pony FiM, I knew it had to be her. After a couple of days holed up in my room, enjoying MLP FiM for the first time, I called home. My mom confirmed her full name- she had never looked her up so she was pretty excited too. She found all the drawings for me- there were also a lot of pony drawings in the original artwork style. I chose to omit them as the design has been revamped. These are quick marker/pen sketches and pencil drawings that she did to keep us amused.

I love Lauren's response- I remember that Strawberry Shortcake house well! I did memorize/practice what I was going to say, which is why it may sound a little scripted, but I'm absolutely not reading anything. I've just never recorded myself. Ever. I wasn't expecting the attention so please bear with me :)

I saw the BronyDoc footage of you meeting Lauren made it into their Bonus Footage! It was really cool to see that.

Wow, it's been over 2 years since I last watched this. It's incredible. Lauren is such an amazing person.
This is pretty much the coolest thing *ever*. And it makes me want to draw even more, and follow my dream of being a cartoonist/animator even more. I'm already in my 20s, but if I'm ever able to bring a smile to even one person's face as well as she's (and of course, the rest of the teams that've worked on her shows, but this video's a testament to her ability as a single person as well) done for so many millions, it's worth working that much harder for.

that was beautifully told and wow to be that little girl to grow up and find out her babysitter that drew her ponies and took care of them was none other than the loving and creative miss Lauren Faust. I don't know about Lauren but if I ended up with teary eyes at the end of this video I could only imagine what Lauren must of felt. That was one mighty impressive way to say "Thank You" I hope you two can talk soon and get to do some catching up. *hugs*
"Smile smile smile" is based on Lauren. She makes more people smile than I could ever hope to, even back when she was sixteen. This just proves Lauren Faust is the best person ever. You two should find some way to meet up again. That would be so awesome.

You're a lucky, lucky girl. I had a similar babysitter when I was about three or four. We moved away when I was five and I never knew who she was because my parents don't remember her name. I'm glad you had a happy childhood because of Lauren Faust, and that you were able to meet her again. A group of friends and I saw you at Annapolis Mall today at Noodles and Co.! I was the Twilight Sparkle cosplayer :) Anyway, I had to hold back liquid pride through the whole video :') I can't imagine how it feels to know you used to rub elbows with one of the most talented people in the animation field as a child. Still VERY jealous and feeling all sorts of feelings after watching.

...Wow. That is just so cool! It doesn't surprise me that Lauren Faust would be an awesome person, we bronies have seen enough of her to know her character, but nevertheless this is so touching and heartfelt...to have a person like that in your life is a special gift, and those that bestow it are truly a credit to the human race. You're a very lucky person, and a huge thanks to Lauren for sharing her awesomeness with the world!
