Abiding in Him means that you are not sinning. So in order for you to be being cleansed from all unrighteousness, you must repent by turning away from your sins. I just found it interesting how much Christian people sing about blood and casting spells for peace. If you think blood magic and witchcraft are bad, then maybe find another religion. There is no "blood magic". Simply put, Jesus blood paid the price of sin for all of humanity. A perfect sacrifice for endless sin. We get excited about the Blood of Jesus because it is the reason we are FREE from our sin. Freedom from sin= NEW LIFE! And we abhor witchcraft, demons, and the like. No witchcraft involved with Jesus.
