Olá! Espero que estejam bem! Por conta do meu "desaparecimento" repentino das redes, gostaria de deixar uma breve explicação com o intuito de tentar esclarecer o que realmente tem acontecido comigo durante estes últimos dias/meses. Continuo neste "hiato virtual" e ainda não tenho previsões de volta. Como muitos especularam, isso não tem a ver com uma "aposentadoria musical", muito menos uma estratégia marketeira para anunciar ~O CURSO DE GUITARRA DO ANO~/1º ÁLBUM quando voltar. Tenho buscado alternativas a fim de revigorar meu sentimento pela música e sua essência; e também para colocar algumas coisas internas em seu devido lugar. Tem sido um período "incognitivo", mas com seus aprendizados e crescimento até então. A música permanece e há de remanescer, embora o desejo de tocar guitarra ainda não esteja aceso. Este vídeo foi feito ano passado, e você pode encontrá-lo no título "Jukebox Sessions". Apenas resolvi repostá-lo por conta da notícia da separação do grupo Daft Punk, trilha sonora marcante em um período muito puro e bonito da minha história. Wtf. I didn't even realize it was that full-on. I'm a guitarist and heard that solo so many times. I literally just vibe the song and don't even pick up on what notes are being played and how crazy the solo is. I am going to have to listen to it properly now and try and learn it! That's great! They're the soundtrack to my childhood too, and I was 40 when "Digital Love" first came out. If you understand what I'm saying. I don't know how many times in a row I watched the video, I was transported back 30 years. To this day, when I listen to this song it's 1971 and my heart hasn't yet been damaged by all the disappointments.

Hey Mateus, I know you're on a hiatus right now (which i'm in complete support of) but hopefully someday you eventually see this message. Over the last few months I've discovered your music and its all I've been listening to all day every day. I've recently gotten back into guitar after a long hiatus and your music has been an inspiration to me. I have no clue what you're truly going through, but of course only you and possibly those the closest to you do. I just wanted to add my experiences to the mix in case somehow they help, even if only a little. I recently graduated from college and that was the most stressful time of my life. I put too many expectations onto myself and disguised them by thinking they were expectations put onto me by others. Only I could decide my direction, even though I didn't believe that that was the case until more recently. What helped me was learning to put my priorities into place. I decided to put more time into things I enjoyed and to rediscover things that made me happy in the past. Do what makes you happy and not what anyone else thinks you should do. Just be honest with yourself and that will be your guide. Question your actions and ask if that's the direction you want that will truly make you happy. Others expectations should simply not be taken into account. It seems a selfish way to be but I have found for me that it has turned into the opposite. I have found that the more I do to make myself happy, the more I am able to be there for others, because I found making others happy is what gives me joy. Live this life questioning your direction, if something isn't what you want or more importantly doesn't make you happy, then simply do not pursue that. Ironically, I wrote a paper towards the end of college discussing all of the research that shows how social media is detrimental to ones mental health. I deleted mine a few years back and noticed an increase in time and connection with others, if you can believe that :) here's a link to it if your curious. Just live according to yourself and do not take into account what others want from you, because if you offer this world your life, it will surely take it. Do what you want Mateus and even though as you say you "have more guitars than real friends" know that even though we may not be your immediate friends, you do have plenty of support and many of us just want what's best for YOU as a person, not just the you the masses see as your real self.
