Congratulations, Nessa!! You have "Been Blessed by the Hand of BOD", lol!! I am very happy for you!! I vote for an Amigurumi Giraffe. You got some great prizes and gifts! I never heard of that Jelly Bean cupcake yarn, I surely would have purchased that one. When was it discontinued? I'd say you had a really great day!! Unfortunately, I missed everything Wednesday evening. I fell asleep at 7:10 pm, and didn't awaken until 10:20 on Thursday morning. Practically 15 hours of sleep!! Michi is such a sweetie, and I always enjoy her lives. But I am sad that I missed Dee, Crystal and Dawn YarnDoll on Wednesday night. That's unusual for me to fall asleep so early and to sleep for so long! Your cardigan looks cuddly!! If it takes a 4 weight yarn, then I can use my Ice yarn haul to make it. I love Giraffes. It's my Clara. My Grand Princess favorite animal in zoo since she was old enough to remember. Her dad and she would pay to feed the Giraffes 🦒 from high deck she was never afraid it's neat.

@@YARNBARF they discontinued it in 2021. I bought a bunch of it very cheap from Lionbrand back then and after I did I learned that they discontinued it. Luckily I bought a 1 or 2 boxes I have them in clear totes now and made a blanket and few presents with them. They are really pretty it's sad that they discontinued them. It's just like mandala yarn but in pretty colorways, very cheerful. You probably needed the sleep. I napped but woke up at 8pm for crochet club and then Michis members live. Yes the brown cardi uses a 4 weight yarn. I used Big twist Heather yarn in colorway beige....but the Herrschners heathered yarn is much softer. Yes, I've definitely been blessed. Sometimes the designers put a call out for anyone who wants to test their patterns and you need to check if they have any conditions / charges and other times they have the information on their websites and you can contact them and ask if they need testers. I've been planning to make a video about tips and tricks for testing patterns and my experiences with it. I started last fall but the two designers I test patterns for I test them for free and I have access to the pattern when I'm done, I get to a copy of the pattern and the items I made but I pay for my own materials.

Hi Nessa, I saw BOD calling out a bunch of content creators on her last live, but I can't help bc I'm already subbed to everyone. 😁 Sorry, I have no opinion on which amis to do first. However, I'm thinking the whole Spanish language issue is bc the don't "have to" - anyone can sell just about anything in the US with no language requirement as long as the label meets the disclosure requirements. But if they want to sell in Canada, they MUST have everything in French... 🙄🙄🙄 Have a great day. 🐞

yes I figured they have to have French since they sell in Canada. They probably don't have stores or distribution locations to sell their products and yarn and I believe they don't ship internationally. They probably don't market to the Spanish speaking market a shame since crochet and knit used to be popular. I don't know how popular it is with the current / younger generation now. I tried doing the stitch some weeks ago and was having a tough time.

The cotton sparkle yarn is actually soft and you don't feel the metallic threads... or I didn't feel them last night. Usually I comment and make a remark about them if I do or if a yarn isn't soft.
