That's not real chicken, but what we call mock chicken, made with soy and mushrooms. Remember, that Hindus are vegetarian during religious festivals. So all the food served there are vegetarian.

Well, lord Murugan gave you rain since you said it's hot. Next, Hindus dont serve meat during religious occasions. All food served is vegetarian. As for the rain, it never happened all my life attending Thaipusam. Anyway, it's lovely to know you had a good time there. Blessings to you 🙏
