That's because this is actually a food court in one of the most luxurious mall in Bangkok. The real street stalls in Thailand may not be as clean as this, but still safe and cleaner than those in some other countries.

Yes! Someone who knows his craft and puts on a show for his customers is a win-win. I've tried opening coconuts before and they're tough to crack (literally). I love watching a master at work.

I know you are joking, but every country has low-quality foods and high quality ones. "Meat on a stick, possibly slightly burnt" is also a Thai specialty just as "soggy spongecake and fake cream" is in the US. Garbage food is everywhere if you choose to eat it.

The lady with the food is so very well organized. I love watching the face of the lady who is trying all the food. She seems like she is so genuinely happy. I wish more people were like that.

That is a brilliant and creative idea to have the indoor floating markets. Very refreshing!!!!

What a wonderful atmosphere, the prices are very cheap and the food looks sooooo delicious. These great coconuts do not exist in this form here in Germany. :-( But I am always impressed how imaginatively and precisely the dishes are prepared, decorated or packaged, I think that's great. It's always nice and funny to see on her face whether she likes it or not. I have to smile or even grin every time, thanks for that, I love that.

Fido Doggy that’s because they are working inside a new (rather posh) air conditioned mall. It’s a tourist attraction and is actually just a food court, but full of traditional Thai foods - street food style. Real street food vendors would never wear their best clothes to cook and work in them as it is incredibly hot all year round and there’s no point in ruining nice clothes. Even one of the most famous street food sellers (Pa Fai, she was featured in a Netflix series about street food) whose foods are Michelin Star priced, does not wear glamorous clothes for the fact that it is not suitable for the weather.

Yeah.. it's actually kind of scary looking and irritating at the same time. Wish she would just smile and nod with her mouth closed so her teeth are hidden. It's really kinda gross but she's so sweet that I just look away when she does it and keep watching. Just wish she would keep those friendly lips closed. It would make all the difference.
