Thai Bus Food Tour Real Review 2024 | EAT & SEE SIGHTS OF BANGKOK!

If you visit Bangkok you'll probably want to see the sights, and sample some delicious Thai food! Why not combine the two by taking this Thai Bus Food Tour, which goes 4 times a day from River City, on the opposite side of the river from ICONSIAM?
I paid 1680 Baht (this video is not sponsored) to go on the 'night life tour'. It lasts for 90 minutes, and this video shows exactly what you can expect. If you are a first time visitor to Thailand or Bangkok, or if you just fancy a change, this might be worth considering. Would you take the tour?

New subscriber here. Added you after watching Phil’s recent podcast with you and Richard. I knew you worked with Phil but forgot you had your own channel. Looks like some great content here. I may take this food tour in January. Really appreciate the tip to sit on the left hand side.

Hey Goldfinger, thanks for the sub. I try to do slightly different topics on here so as not to overlap with Phil too much. Hopefully, you'll find something of interest! The food tour is fun especially if you're new to Bangkok!

Brilliant video and commentary BC. 👌 I may try next time I am in Bangkok. Seems odd to be eating while moving?! Wait I flew here and ate on the airplane 😂😂

Many thanks, Ric! Must admit I was half expecting something like glorified airplane food heated up in a microwave. But happily, this is restaurant cooked food, served up on a very comfortable bus, taking you past some beautiful sights. Go for it!

I like how the Rattanakosin Island sites lit up at night. Definitely will ask my friend if she wants to try this. BTW, please be careful when eating satay in a moving vehicle. Eat sideway not pointing the tips into your mouth. Anyway good content. Thanks ❤

Thanks. Many of the buildings do look beautiful at night. I'm sure your friend would enjoy it. Never thought about the dangers of putting skewers in your mouth. Thanks for the tip.

This is a great Idea . I normally spend my days in Bangkok finding my next meal and miss out on the sights . Would definitely try this at night . Looked great on the camera guessing its even better in real life . Your best informative food video yet . Thanks BC

Looks good, I will have to try it. Reminds me of the dinner on the river tours, Bangkok river is amazing at night and you can see how many British colonial style buildings there are - including the old customs house UTV

Thanks mate. Met a guy on the bus who had done one of the river tours the previous night. He said the views from the river were better, but the food on the bus was more delicious. Sounds likely. Just as long as no-one tries to throw a brick at the bus, like happened to our team bus recently!

Thanks, BB. I don't think they allow any alcohol onboard :-( They certainly don't sell it. Nearest they had was Heineken 0°!!

Thanks for the question. If I remember correctly (it was a few months ago!), there is a small toilet downstairs on the lower deck.

No elderly people were harmed in the making of this video. In fact, I felt as right as rain afterwards!
