Everybody here who plays or knows volleyball well will say that the secret to Thailand's winning this game, or probably their upcoming matches, is their style of playing. Big credit to their setting ability. Their low-fast sets are one of the reasons why volleyball is not just about pure height and powerful spikes, but speed and playmaking skills are both important as well. After their superstar setter Nootsara Tomkom retirement to the Thai National Team, their volleyball program managed to mold another great setter in the name of Guedpard Pornpun. Props to this Thailand Team! Great game!

Having first starting 6 playing aboard is greatly help. Receiving and digging are so much better than before. Especially those 2 MB the Japanese's floor defense really working wonders. Ajcharaporn and Chatchu-on spiking skills are greatly improved as well.

nootsara and pornpun are equal, watch japan vs thailand 2016 qualifications for olympic. Pornpun guedpard is underrated

Im from philippines and not a Thai, but I must say that I'm so much into Thailand team ryt now. Almost all of their starters are import to different countries. I must say that this young and new squad of Thailand is way faster. I'll be rooting for them this VNL hehe. I love how their wing hitters Kokram, Moksri and Kongyot do damages from every side of the court. Good luck Thailand on ur next game against serbia! Let's do this! We're do proud of you representing not just Thailand, but also South East Asia!

Watching Thailand play this game feels like watching the Olympic finals US vs Brazil. Their game is just superior. The US was superior in all aspects at the Olympics, mainly blocking and having an opposite player who can hit fast low balls. Thailand here completely changed the game on their attack. It's no longer middle, outside and opposite. Their players can all hit from all positions in the court which makes the job of the middle blocker of the opposite team very difficult and it's a pleasure to watch!

I think Min mean that many Thai players played in professional volleyball league in many countries. Hattaya, Pimpitchaya and Thatdao play in Japan while Chatchu-on and Atcharaporn play in Turkey. Their skills are really improved.

They miss 2021 because of Covid and hve to call back their seniors. So glad to see young players of Thai in 2022. Their setter was so brilliant

despite the fact that all their superstar seniors are retired, the current players are showing that they will make the thai team as great as it has always been.

Those Thai players that on court this match had been playing with The Fabs for a long time. For example, Chatchu-on was on national team since she was 14 ( she's 22 now ). Pornpun was Nootsara back up setter almost the same length period. So Thailand Volleyball playing style DNA has been imprinted ever since. Even The Fabs retired, Thailand's Volleyball playing style is very much still the same that make it still successful till today.

Thai team has new generation which can play along together very well. This is another set good combination. Many player had experience from play aboard which can share with the team. Chompoo (Pornpun) the setter, do a lot better in this match than in SEA games. This helped a lot. It made other player play a lot easier and shaper. Love this team

Our country plays very well thanks to foreign volleyball fans who like our country.🇹🇭🙏
