Yes these guys were and still are legit way more better than a lot for rappers today.

I'm from East New York, Brooklyn. We had a Beat Street back then on Pennsylvania ave, and my crew had the vinyl and tape. We rock with them hard.

One of the best underrated rap groups from the West!!

2 things!! The bit where Tash says "Adjust my mic level" is one of the dopest effects in hip hop. That always sounded incredible in clubs on big systems. and J Ro now has a WIFE! "The color of cooking flour!"

LA is known for gangsta rap indeed, but i think people forget that LA also has an amazing underground hip hop culture. Tha Liks are apart of that. Everything them, King Tee, the whole crew ever put out was GOLD.
