These guys complement each other in way you rarely see these days. This isn't crossover. It is insulting to call it such. This is everything a band should be. This is artistry.

Isn't he older than 50 now? Different sources say he was either born in 1967 or 1972, but given that he had his first single in 1987 I'm leaning to him being born 1967.

Was looking forward to a live set.. wtf? Gotta say thanks to Pharoahe and the crew for still caring about us enough to make this beautiful record.

I hope these guys know how much they're appreciated! You only get the level of lyricism once in a generation. And the band is amazing.

Pharoahe is celebrated by emcees but seems to still be disgustingly overlooked and underrated. He has been one of the most creatively transparent artists of my lifetime. He truly puts a lot of himself into his art. A visualist who paints pictures with language and sound. He is my personal favorite solo emcee and De La are my GOAT group. Two of the largest inspirations to me as both a man and artist. Thank you for all you have given art, music, and me through those channels. Th1rt3en is a breath of fresh air and well worth the wait we endured for this album. You gentlemen outdid yourselves and I truly cannot wait to experience it all live. Respect and love ALWAYS
