Roma, il 21 aprile, ha compiuto 2.770 anni e come da tradizione i festeggiamenti, durati tre giorni, chiudono oggi la celebrazioni del Natale di Roma 2017 con la sfilata storica in costume dal Colosseo ai Fori Imperiali a rendere omaggio alla statua di Giulio Cesare.

Ottimo lavoro! ma dovrebbe essere più pubblicizzata, sentita dalla cittadinanza e proposta anche in altri periodi dell'anno come una grande manifestazione di reenacting ridando vita a ciò che fu quella civiltà.
It's interesting to watch this. Rome has such a brutal history especially around the forum and Colosseum with regard to Jews, Christians among others. I hope we have gone into more enlightened times where the good that it achieved can be remembered and celebrated despite the past. The Catholics apparently have a parade in Rome in which they acknowledge the deaths of early Christians in the Colosseum. Perhaps they could hold Christian concerts there with songs and prayers? I think that'd be beautiful. There has to be forgiveness and reconciliation for past mistakes.
