One time i was playing on dustbowl, the enemy team was ranting about a spy i don't give a shit since well i didn't saw him but then i started to spectated him when a vote kick failed. Then i saw he was blandly cheating with the ambassador. He changed to heavy in the next round and then even though people saw him flick like a maniac and hitting every shot no one kicked him why? Because they thought he was fat magic just because someone asked if he was fat magic and the cheater said yes, i was so mad i left the server.

That's the problem with modern TF2 players. There is a known cheater group in AUS/ Singapore servers that all have unusuals and even though they are obviously hacking (with twitchy movement and doubletap), nobody believes me when I call them out on it. It's even worse in Singapore servers, where once everyone on the server made fun of me for being killed over and over again by these douchebags after I called him an obvious cheater. It got so bad everyone on the server (even those not hacking) targeted me and were saying dumb, sarcastic shit like "Oh look, I headshot you; I must be cheating now!" It was infuriating to say the least.

The cheaters I ran into usually end up having high level, expensive inventory and plays with a party to ensure they don't get kicked. They also like to legit hack so unless you have a good amount of experience on the game, they can get undetected.

People have this mindset that if someone have unusuals he is probably a tryhard and can outmatched them everytime But when they died to a gibus they'll get angry because they think F2P is New to the game or just a noob. "How did I lose to a guy that looked like he just download the game? No, this is so embarassing. They're totally cheating!"

it could also be that if someone is willing to spend tons of money on in-game items then they have more to lose than someone who doesn't have hats. so therefore people are less likely to accuse unusuals, because who would want to risk getting vac with 100+ $€ hat?

they can also know the steamid of the profile, use the command to show ids of players, and compare it

there are only 2 causes of hackusations IMO 1. The accused who could be cheating or not doing something suspicious 2. Bloated Ego

You can cancel the Heavy's eating sound by doing a voice command after using the sandvich. It doesn't matter which voice command you use, by the way. Just thought I'd let you know, since in one video (I forget which one) you were talking about a sandvich with no eating sound.

I recently played a TF2 match and there was a Heavy with an aussie tommislav and an unusual on the enemy team. He was top of the team and it took a while before someone on our team accused the enemy heavy for hacking to us. After dying to that heavy a couple of more times, I noticed he had a type of auto aim or auto tracking because his flicks were way to fast from one target to another. We then, as a team, accused the heavy for hacking and even when the hacking heavy himself said he was hacking, the enemy team dismissed it as us being bad and didn't kick him. He was then auto balanced to our team and kicked instantly.

Yeah while unusuals and fancy cosmetics aren't a sure sign of skill, the fact you put this much money in the game tends to mean you're at least a bit dedicated to it or have been playing a while.

i think its just the problem that there are so many cheaters and bots in tf2 for so long, that u instantly get sus if u hit 2 headshots in a row lol

thats a problem with sniper itself. unbalanced and unfun to fight against. so if the entire enemy team is getting headshotted left and right, everyone else in the team that is stomping the other will not get any kills = not fun for everyone else. AND the team getting stomped wont be able to do anything which means no fun.

This reminds me of when I got kicked as a heavy. I had no cosmetics at all and was using the stock weapons. I was playing like garbage because I had about 30 _minutes_ of playtime on heavy in _total._ Yet still, I got hackusated and kicked. Why, tf2 community. Why.

same issue with cs 1.6, I have high vis models in the game and surround sound in-ears so listening to someone/ seeing someone from from far away is fairly easy and when you have the advantage it becomes much easier to kill them, got me banned from 6 servers lmao

same, as a spy main it was fun to trickstab and have fun while chilling with everyone, nowadays if you miss a trickstab cause people got better people will call you trash and make fun of you while stalking your steam account

Got accused of cheating in a casual match today and I am just fucking mindboggled, never could've imagined skill can get you to this point.

Last year or something i was playing casual, there was a cheater playing heavy but he never got kicked because he had an australium and unusuals, the fun part is that he was OBVIOUSLY cheating as he was snapping everywhere with aimbot and he was also wallhacking, it was only me and a few other guys on my team that was calling him out but the entire server denied it. He got VAC banned after the match, and that was during the time VAC was still useless and not working.

I recently saw an absolute character on doublecross. A racist, cheating, weeb scout who was using Wall hacks on some spies. He quickly got kicked our team went and watched him for a bit.

The general rule of thumb if someone is stomping you using a class that can cheat is the following: - Are they using expensive items? People usually won't want to risk expensive items to a VAC. - Do they have a really high killstreak? If they're rocking a hale's own, they're likely not cheating and are simply good. - Is their profile private? Cheaters almost always have a private profile. - If it isn't private, do they have thousands upon thousands of hours? Really good players can effortlessly stomp in this game. - Do they pass the spy test? Go cloak and dagger and chill somewhere random. If you die to them randomly, they're cheating. Cheaters often instinctively click on invisible spies which can give them away. - Are they dominating more than just you? If they only have a few doms, they're likely not cheating. Cheaters tend to kill indiscriminately and rack up many dominations. Basically work your way down this list if you're not certain whether they are cheating or not. Players with more than 1k hours should be able to easily grasp obvious cheaters, but it can be tricky for new and average players to draw the line between blatant cheating and a really good player. There are much more subtle cheats which are much harder to catch even for experienced players. - Crit hacking - you decide when you crit - Wall hacking - you can see player's outlines - Health hacking - you can see everyone's health - Aim assist - slightly corrects your aim the moment you click if you would miss as sniper
