The pompson used to have penetration but they removed it because the projectile became invisible and people could set up a dispenser and shoot thru it and people didnt know what they were dying to. Instead of fixing it they just nerfed it.

@@glitch7584 Well, the bison and pompson have different projectiles and they both have had different issues in the past. The bison projectile used to linger on certain spawn doors so you could place mines that disintegrated anybody that opened the spawn doors as well as the projectile dissipating before it left the gun because of bad map geometry. To say they "fixed" either weapon is stretch.

lets be honest: the sound of crit pomson +domination +killstreak play at the same time make you feel like a superior being that no weapon can do the same

I've never seen a hacker get humiliated like that before. the other players don't believe him at all, a fool is made of him (more so then usual) and he gets kicked. (also he seems pretty obsessed if he has your ID saved just so he can always know it's you.)

Buff/Rework Idea for the Pomson: just add a alt-fire that consumes 4 ammo from clip and has to charge like the cowmangler, but shoots a hitscan lightning bolt across the map, that deals mini-crits and makes medics/spies hit unable to uber/cloak for 6 seconds, while also disabling hit buildings for 1.5 seconds.

Pre nerf I used to have a strange killstreak pomson and I would shoot through my dispenser/sentry gun to make the projectile invisible. Nothing was funnier than an invisible pomson random crit shot flying across 2fort and obliterating some random person.

this was quite possibly the saddest godlike i've ever seen, even eating my breakfast is more thrilling. but hey, a godlike with the pomson is still a godlike with the pomson

I think it should drain Jarate meter just because I hate Jarate. Penetration should come back, but only for the damage. So if a heavy bodyblocks a shot going to his medic, they both take damage, but the Medic keeps his uber. It should be noted that even when it had penetration, this thing was really bad at getting kills, it was mainly used to drain uber since it was unblockable. But the damage wasn't really all that unless a teammate could follow it up. So the penetration wasn't the issue, it was that it kept the drain even after going through a blocker.

Vorobey is too powerful against Shiro, he doesnt even have to kill him in the game to cause him to get kicked lmao

If the pomson had splash damage then it would be an OK weapon, change my mind

Fun little fact about the laser weapons. The Cow Mangler is the only one that has received a BUFF since it's creation, with a faster reload (making it competitively viable). Every other one apart from the Mannmelter has been nerfed. Pomson with it's projectile penetration being removed, phlog no longer healing you to full health on taunt, and bison now doing up to %40 LESS damage than on release. Yes Valve said they reverted it back to it's original state in Jungle Inferno, but that was a fucking lie.
