honestly, starting with reselling painted cosmetics might be the most easy way to profit, specially miscs not hats, STN trading sometimes has a few sometimes at base value and Scraptf too, also great video, thanks for making it!

Very true! I would've included stn but I didn't for the reason that some consider it a suspicious site because scammers have been known to drop scammed items to the bots. I'm not sure how often it's happened recently so I didn't want to risk it lol, but yes stn is really good.

I usually just ignore trade offers. I have pretty much all I could ever want in my inventory, so unless it's like "I'll you trade my Unusual for your Unusual", it ain't happening.

Even if you ignore it, it is still in your inventory. You will continue to get item drops I believe

You could do that too, whatever works for you really. Strange flame throwers aren't crazy expensive for the regular ones tbh so you'd definitely get it eventually, they also won't go up in price as much compared to other things. In the end it's just whatever you think works best, best of luck!

Just remember of course you have to be a premium account to even be able to get the flame thrower, probably should mention that. If you don't then you won't be able to trade with other players (which you need to in order to buy the flame thrower)

If you do it in game at all, might as well do trade servers. I recommend using third party sites to make it way easier for you

What items do i buy if i have like 40 ref? I have been playing the game for quite a while and i have around 40 ref metal in my inventory and i dont know what to do with it. I would really appreciate any help.

Usually buying painted cosmetics (with popular paints. Stuff like distinctive lack of hue etc) is a really good way to get profit around that area. You can do other things too but I think I personally would resell painted cosmetics (paint region matters too, if you buy a hat that has less paint region it may be harder to resell) hope this helps 👍

Trading is all automated now. Most traders i know who have 10k worth of backpacks has been trading since the beginning.

Ah, half a scrap is basically the same as any random weapon. For example kritzkrieg, huntsman, diamondback, etc. There are some weapon drops that sell for way higher tho like the vaccinator, but most regular unique weapons equal half a scrap. Hopefully this helps 👍
