I was worried that all hell would break loose when someone raises their voice, but in the end, it's just a calm and respectful argument between the RED team about their favorite Need for speed game. It's quite refreshing!

I agree with Heavy. Hot Pursuit is my favorite, while the story is pretty much non-existent at least it makes all up with it's graphics, gameplay and mechanic and it's amazing soundtrack. Oh man the soundtrack dude! Both from the game (the epic soundtrack when you play as the cops was always tense) and irl from the singers (it plays when you're the racers and it's very juvenile and cool) And still, one thing that I liked about the game was how the entire world is used, from the turns in the mountains to the straight roads in the desert, from the windy beaches to the rainy forrests there's always diversity in location when you race. The amount of cars that you could use for both cops and racers was immense and you always felt you were faster everytime you upgraded to get a new car. And ofc the weapons are the best imo, you feel like beast as the cops when you call the helicopter and you feel that you're the flash when using Turbo as the racers. All in all, it is an amazing game by criterion, which it has more layers to explore and play than you expect it would have, while it's not perfect on all aspects like not having an actual story, at least the gameplay, map, mechanics, cars variety and songs will make it to an unforgettable experience.

I remember when there was tf2 dubs. About that game. One golden one wad made by Rush Freak with radio effects and all. Seems like there's potential for a 15.ai dub of this game. Along with 2005 most wanted! If I know how to use emulators that is.

Need for Speed Most Wanted, of course (the best one)

Its nice to see a Mercs Discuss/Argues video where its not ending up with them killing eachother all the time.

Prostreet and the underground games were my childhood, I remember playing Underground when I was 4 on a purple Gamecube, Underground 2 on a fat PS2 when I was 5, and Prostreet on at 360 S when I was 6.

Sniper is right The run has an excellent story not to mention the rival races often have you at the edge of your seat it’s spectacular! Demo has good taste yes carbon’s career was pretty short the story was somewhat lacking (but not all bad) and most of its elements used the same engine as MW but it’s still an icon. Bravo for engineer underground 2 was my starting point in the series yes the visual and customizations are amazing but most the time I was just driving around and didn’t know what to do to progress the story The events were still fun though Heavy truly is a master of disaster the 2010 Hot Pursuit gave me my love for leaving cops in the dust nothing felt better than smoking them with turbo or just giving them a taste of their own medicine with spikes Spy mustve had some good times i had fond memories of prostreet with me and my dad on the couch heck my father eventually found some tunes for his Camaro that were so good he became one of the best in the world on the drag strip ah nfs 2015 not a bad choice doc good events good atmosphere my only complaint is that the VBPD is slow but persistent No comment on soldiers pick never tried undercover Personally i wouldnt dis scout the 2012 most wanted was okay to me when you know what you're doing besides being a burnout fan it gives you good burnout carnage along with nfs tuning a match made in heaven

The Soldier has bad taste for when it comes to Need for Speed. That's all you need to know. But, to his credit, he likes trying different things. Also, Underground 2 was my starting point too. I fondly remember not beating Stage 1 (City Core). That was 4 year old me. Incapable of reading. Not knowing the concept of drag and drift events.

I was hoping somebody would mention the pre-Underground era of NFS games, but oh well! I love that they're having a civilized discussion for a change though

Frankly, I’ve only played 4 of them: -Need For Speed Payback -Need For Speed Heat -Need For Speed 2015 -Need For Speed The Run (3DS Version) I like Payback the most out of them, because it feels like it has a nicely formed plot line. Also it added in many features, from which Heat benefited from.

i agree with the heavy i grew up with hot pursuit and i love that game

I'm surprised they didnt mentioned the classic era of NFS, the Shift series, Rivals ( which Heavy would love that too ), Payback, Heat and Unbound. It'll be interesting to hear their opinions of it

Truthfully, I've always been more of a fan of NFS Nitro. While it wasn't as popular or well-known as many of the others, the customization and car choices were pretty good. And it was the first game that got me into the series.

I overall enjoyed Nfsmw the most with Engie and Pyro. The story itself is compelling, the handling on the cars are as crispy as fried chicken skin (in a good way), and let's not forget the cop levels and chases. I'm pretty sure at one point, we all lost a car chase from the police. But man the suspense of the chase is what gave Most Wanted its edge, hence why I love it.

I'm surprised that nobody has commented Need For Speed Rivals, the one that initiated the series of cop and racer

I don't care what anyone says, _The Run_ was what got me into _NFS_ and is by far my personal favorite!

i am personly more of a burnout fan (mainly paradise and its remaster) but i have played nfs heat and rivals and they are pretty good

I like how they all didn't like MW 2012 10/10

everytime there's discussion about nfs games, no one brings up the classic ones, ones that came out before the underground which redefined what nfs actually is to a lot of people. My favourite ones are nfs 4 high stakes and nfs Porsche unleashed. And believe it or not, first time tunning got introduced in nfs, was in nfs 4, not the underground, albeit simplified type of it. The only nfs game that captured the essence of classic nfs games is hot pursuit 2010, and that's why it'll remain the best nfs game in recent years, in my opinion of course!

If only I had played those games myself, I would've mentioned them. I know Porsche Unleashed is a fan favorite, but I haven't played it (yet). In addition to the fun fact of High Stakes introducing performance tuning, the cops were also there from the very first game. And I fully understand what people say about 2010 Hot Pursuit "going back to the roots". If you compare it to the original games, they're pretty much identical (especially the third game), save for the mile long drifts. It got "remastered" for a reason (even if it's not much of a remaster).
