@@rafaelrose14 Dainsleif is the Bough Keeper who keeps care of Irminsul, he knows everything recorded in Irminsul, and might be the one who deleted some records about our sibling's journey. Irminsul told him about Furina, most likely. Nahida also knows the truth from Irminsul, as she said 'Focalors, as the Hydro Archon, will still render the final judgment'. However, Furina never did any judgements. Nahida was obviously talking about the Oratrice and knew Focalors was operating it. Aloy's collected miscellany isn't narrated by Dainsleif, because she isn't in Irminsul, so this just confirms it.

OH GOD, I remember that thread in Mihoyo lab about sharing your precious moment during play for primogems. One of player told them about their gaming friend. They've been gaming buddy for 2 years and their friend passed away recently before playing Inazuma. That player still goes to his dead friend serenitea pot. Everyone like: I DON'T NEED PRIMOGEMS, JUST LET THAT PERSON BE HAPPY.

Now that we know what Natlan looks like, I can't wait to see how they will turn such a colorful and vibrant vacation looking area to "the nation of war" we have never heard about before.

Back again after finishing the 4.2 Archon Quests. Furina played her part so well. Dainsleif’s description matches Furina more than Focalors.

@@irinamc4280 Spoiler for Fontaine Act 5........ So Focalor said she tasked Furina to be the lead actress for 500 years. Furina is really committed to her job that even she herself didn't drop the act in her own inner thought. Traveler tried so hard to convince her to be honest but in the end Traveler gave up since she's already too deep in her own acting. Imagine having to pretend to be someone else for 500 years, Furina already way past her own limit. As for Focalor, she finally freed Furina from her longtime task by facing the death sentence that she subjected upon herself. So basically Focalor is the divine part while Furina is Focalor's human counterpart.

It’s kinda of a spoiler but I got Zhongli already and learned about it before I finished Liyue’s story. Soooo Edit: Apparently it doesn’t spoil his story until you complete the Archon Quest, so I think mine is bugged

@@rejoicemercy6151 i also got zhongli, but don't you find out everything else when you reach friendship level four after you completed the liyue quest, because for me i had to finish it until i could unlock more voicelines and stories

This will forever remain the greatest trailer in the game's history. Watching this when the game was in it's early stages was an experience can't be replicated. The fact that the entire lore was planned out before the game's release and we got a general idea of the area's music and character design is amazing. Finally getting to know who the narrator was is also amazing.

I was so stunned back during version 1.0 after watching "Travail" for the first time I didn't know what to think out of it. First came curiosity, then sense of an epic adventure... only to get slammed by depression, sorrow and fear of the literal unknown thanks to "Chapter ?". I was crying for no reason but there was reason - LACK OF REASON TO DO SO. Now after four years, especially after Fontaine, when game's lore went into such a deep rabbit hole, I feel fear - fear about final two Teyvat regions, Celestia that's not mentioned as separate chapter at all, finally Khaenri'ah and mysterious Sea of Flowers. What shall I feel? What will happen and what my reactions will be like? Will I still be holding up against fight with Dainsleif? Unlike vocal minority/majority(?), I'll never ever get myself to hate this game. I didn't fell in love into it because of endgame, chasing 5* characters or being a meta slave - I love Genshin Impact due to Teyvat's design as the nations we travel through, their stories, people, characters set in and our hero's journey. Ad Astra Abyssosque, fellow Traveler!

@FelixRaycher I remember not watching this in 1.0 because it said it "contains spoilers." I eventually gave in and watched it only to be stunned by the amount of planning that went into this game. I never really cared about endgame or the controversies regarding rewards because I know that as long as the lore and music keep being amazing, I will always come back to this game. Hyped for the dain quest next patch, capitano in natlan, and everything the game has in store for us. This video is the gathering place for all of us, so let all of us gather here at the end of this journey and look back on the fond memories.

Exactly, facing Celestia head on wouldn't be the smartest move, so Focalors decided to pull up a trick, by deceiving the heavens, which worked at the end, since according to Nicole, Fate can be tempered with only If we use gods' blindspots or kill them If possible, basically using a greater force, that's how she saved her people from the prophecy, and the consequence of destroying the throne of hydro will affect more than just Fontaine as a nation alone

Each and every moment in this video foreshadows the game lore. It's so well thought out. Definitely one of the best pieces of story writing in gaming history has been presented in the form of Genshin Impact. Gosh do I love this game.

kinda interesting to note that after every archon quest, we're given a little bit of insight about the archon of the next nation we're going to visit. so far, we don't have that for the pyro archon.. instead we were just told which fatui harbinger we can expect in Natlan.....

Vision is appear out of nowhere (I mean, even a person want to have vision or have a strong will, it'll appear in the least expected time) and give the bearer god-like power that seems unreal. Yet, delusion could be gained from hard work (experiment, maybe death of the bearer when testing it out, and you need to be approved by Tsaritsa?). The irony when you realize the name is likely switched. Vision bearer could be Celestia 'eyes' not the Archon themselves, and Tsaritsa was aware of this.

It's well written story right there. When writer can feed parts of whole story, which do not make much sense until bit by bit audience learn more and start to grasp complexion of whole and how grand it is to understand even short bits in bigger picture. Quite enjoyable indeed.

I think this is connected to what Scaramouche said about the sky and the stars. And lastly the most important part: “Defeat me, command me to step aside, show me that you are worthier than i to rescue her” “Then, the threads of all fate will be yours to reweave” THIS LAST SENTENCE!!! Makes it sounds like we are some kind of godlike being capable of changing fate itself.

This trailer is like the first world you explore, there will be more world after that. Just look at Honkai (same dev), the story seem about to end and they reveal a 3 years plan story for it lol.

The lore goes so deep that it's actually scary. The whole plot was probably made way before the game came out, so it makes sense if the main themes were made around that time as well.

I always come back to this video it’s nostalgic now, it’s been so long since mondstadt :(
