Most beautifully painting.. I wish I could see last part of the painting..

I'm a beginner and definitely no artist and I was able to complete this painting no problem at all. Mine isn't perfect, as it shouldn't be, and I absolutely love it. Sure I had to pause and slow down the video. Sure I had to search on KZread for how to draw half of Buddha's face but it was well worth it. I wish I could leave a picture of the painting to show people it is absolutely achievable. One thing I would suggest is to watch the full video before trying it. When she gets to the part where she is painting the background blue it is important to know that you have to leave the outline of Buddha's face dark enough so that you are able to see the lines clearly. If you paint over it too thick you will not be able to see the lines and it will be difficult to recreate the masterpiece you just worked so hard to make. I wish everyone luck.

Thanks Ashley.. you made my day dear. Frankly I am not a professional video content creator. Since I was more involved in the painting rather than the camera filming the last part just didn't capture. But I still.went ahead and uploaded the video. I ahd no idea this video will be liked and followed by so many of you..and I definitely want to work in improving it. @@kaccherang I think you did very well. Multi tasking like that cannot be easy at all so I commend you for doing such a great job. I have always thought that I am not a painter or an artist but my Nepali boyfriend has convinced me that I can do anything. My next project is painting Ganesh and so far it is already turning out marvelously. Never let anyone tell you you are doing it wrong. I know you will get more comfortable with everything and you will have a huge following. 😊 And all of those Negative Nancys will be eating their words.

priya Maharana this is canvas paper .. 10 by 12 inches..I fixed it with painters tape so that it doesn't fold or move during the painting process...

Aleksandra Fedjanina .. take a credit card or something similar and apply some paint on the end and swap over the painting.. Ili could not record that piece since my battery died . I am planning to do a similar piece soon.. please do check out that video.. may be it will help..Thanks for following me

Arbin Amatya .. if the black outline is dark enuf..It will still show over the blue background..Also let the black outline dry first...Let me know if you have more questions

Arbin Amatya .. do u know the grid method to transfer a image on canvas..Use that the proportions will be fine..

Is it compulsory to put a layer of gesso mam??

kashi devi ..no it's a personal choice.. gesso gives good textured background to work on ..I personally prefer textured paintings...but I can skip that

Too fast. I'm a beginner one. It's hard to learn techniques. I couldn't understand where gesso used in it..

be nice if there was a tracing of budda and you slowed down. Not all people can paint that fast!

Why do people paint the Buddha always in blue

Prema Lingaraj .. it's a common belief that Buddha is a reincarnation of Krishna..Who himself was blue.. so the similarity. .. Another reason could be the blue is actually not the complexion but the aura.. usually all enlightened beings including the gods like ram and Krishna have been shown having blue color.. which is the aura..And not the actual complexion... This is my personal belief..Others could feel otherwise.. I paint Buddha in All possible colors though..
