Fabulous purchases Corrine, and a walk down memory lane as I did a lot of those tourist places same time last year. The lace pieces from old clothing such as collars and sleeves really got me. So sweet.

Great video! I’m a true Francophile - I’ve even lived there for a bit - and love hearing what people make of it. I’m so impressed that you made a plan for what you wanted to buy and then stuck to it! I’d have lost the plot day one. Looking forward to hearing more about your trip (especially La Sainte Chapelle which I just think is sublime). TFS.
I can not tell you how much I enjoyed this video 💓. Loved hearing about the trip then seeing your goodies….wow. I was drooling when you went through the samples from Chanel, then the lace and other fabrics, it was awesome. Seeing as I am in the UK, only a hop across the channel, I am SO tempted to book one of those tours. Really looking forward to hearing more of your adventures and seeing what you do with those fabulous finds. 🥰🤩🫶

Welcome home Corrine, Pauline here from Mollymook Beach 😎 So glad your Paris experience was wonderful 😊 My husband (Gaz) & I had a once- in-a- lifetime holiday a few years ago, including Paris, we hated Paris, there were soldiers with guns wandering around, one of our group was pick-pocketed,on another occassion we passed a shop where a man was sitting in the doorway,he spat at our feet !!!! The highlight though was attending Moulin Rouge, unfortunately as our group walked down a lane towards the theatre they had a bucket of water thrown at them from above, police were called, spoke to 2 kids being silly buggars 🙄 But wasn't all bad, as the show started the stage rolled towards us & our table was against the stage..... AWESOME !!!!!!!!!! I spent the night wiping drool from Gazzas chin 🤣😂🤣😂 Unfortunately we are unable to travel now,too old, but I'll see Paris through your eyes now xxx TFS 🤗😊

Great haul. Looks like you had fun.
You obviously had a wonderful time, thanks for sharing all your finds with us. When you went though your post cards it brought back soon many memories of my stay in Paris. Sadly I was just a slip of a girl, long before my passion for textiles took hold, if only I'd known😊

Great idea.. they would sell them!
I just recently started watching your channel again. I love your work. I’m gathering my supplies to make Hendrick the scrappy hare. I’ve been watching your Paris videos today. I cannot believe the prices. I know it’s Paris but I can’t believe those prices. I wish you would consider coming to America. Don’t go to large metropolitan cities but to the small country towns. I live in Tennessee, right outside of Nashville. We have loads of antique malls to hunt through. The prices are fractions of what you would think. I’ve gotten lace and old fabric at what we call yard sales. In the spring and fall, they begin and they run from house to house through the countryside. For example, one farm I stopped at, I bought a small quilt top for one dollar. The country people just clean out what they call junk. I call it treasure. That quilt top was feed sack material. Come and visit, especially in the south. You would love it. May God richly bless you. You have given me hours of pleasure and many ideas. Tammie in Tennessee.

Oh Tammie .. it sounds amazing.. I have always wanted to visit.. we nearly came to Dallas earlier this year .. my hubby wishes to attend the pinball convention.. I said “oh yes.. I will explore while you play those noisey things!! “ lol. Everything in Paris was expensive! Thanks for joining me on my channel..
Subbed a long time ago and enjoyed this haul from abroad or across the ponds!! Super fun and can't wait to see upcoming stitching projects!! Thank you!! ❤x
That trip to Channel off cut rejects shop was incredible! I might have to do this tour. What a great trip. Can't wait to see what you make with all of this and anxious to begin your next project and learn more about your trip.❤

It was a great experience!
Just loved watching this video Corrine while relaxing with a coffee in a beautiful mug from France! How lovely of Susanna to gift you that Freida piece of fabric art! You were very clever to pick out a colour scheme to focus your search and you have such a lovely bundle of goodies right to my taste too. And so pleased you loved Paris this time, Paris and France more broadly hold a very special spot in my heart! I collect antique and vintage hankies as well - I actually love that they have been treasured and used (and washed of course :) So happy you got to visit some of my fave places like Sainte Chapelle - the light passing through those windows and projecting into those rooms is magical as well. Bring on your further videos and projects. Cheers, Christine

Ah lovely.. reach out to her.. she can design the adventure to suit your timelines! Enjoy your trip! Keep me posted ! Corrine
It looks like you had a wonderful time and what treasures you brought home. I loved all the Chanel woven fabrics. But I really loved the vintage stuff. That preprinted piece is so gorgeous. I’m wondering with that satin stitch running through it if it could have some cutwork intended for the open spaces. You will definitely use the vintage lace and I like the idea of hanging the pieces of decorating trim with the tassels so you can admire them all day long. That handkerchief is really special I would love to see it framed. I’d love to make a hankie like that. Talk about “slow stitching”…

The lesson is don't take your husband with you lace and fabric buying in Paris. When I went to Saint Ouens, everything I picked up, with tears in my eyes I found something so amazing, he would say, "What do you want that old thing for?" Vow - if I ever get back there leave him at home. And after I sat for a whole day at the motorbike racing for him - okay, it was a bit exciting, but still. 😁
