Georgian uprising in Texel May 1945. The old Dutch man escaped execution together with another guy by jumping of the truck. The other guys on the truck were all executed by the Germans.

The film(movie) about this is sheer bullshit, they was not POW's at the time,or communists, also what is ironic many who did survive the uprising and went home to their mother land after wars end was sent to the gulag with their families...just like the poles who changed sides and fought for the third reich on the Atlantic wall...
