For anyone (including Paul) saying a QB change in the 4th would have helped...no... Milroe obviously struggled but the Texas D made him struggle because the dominated the lien of scrimmage and got repeated pressure. If Bamas other QBs played, Texas would have had 10 sacks. You can't point out only Milroe's flaws and ignore the dozen times he turned bad blocking into a positive play

We have weapons on the outside tho…Benson, Bond, Burton, Niblack, etc have been making plays this year so far. We gotta have a QB who can distribute the ball to them much quicker, more often, and can read the coverage so he knows where he has an advantage at. Milroe just isn’t gonna be an effective passer throughout the season. Can’t anticipate when is receiver will come open and get the ball out of his hands on time. Throws the deep ball well but that’s it.

Texas looked great against Alabama, the challenge is going to be continuing the standard that has been set, continuing to stack wins going forward. 2-0 is a great start to the season I’d love to see them win the Big 12 championship get a spot in the CFP.

That oline did Milroe 0 favors last night. Texas dline wanted it more and it showed. The couple of times milroe got solid protection he made Texas pay. He’ll be really good if they can fix that oline issue.

Sure but Texas mis-executed and did the same. Could’ve just as easily been a 21pt Texas win as a 3pt Bama win. Texas was the better team.

When it comes to sports so many forget, its not what happened in the past, its what is that team doing now. So what if a team won 5 championships in the past 10 years. It doesn't mean this year they are a championship team.

Texas was clearly the better team. Alabama needs to go in full rebuilding mode. My overall question is this…. how good was Bryce the last 2 years that he covered up all of Bama’s deficiencies? This is a very undisciplined team and the O line just got abused

They changed their running game to a passing game but when they do that they beat themselves because they NEVER have been a passing game.

I think they're just not that good anymore. Their number one recruitment was over when Kirby Smart came to Georgia.

The real issue for Alabama is Jalen Milroe. He was terrible in all the games that he played in last year. I mentioned in the off-season that the team is going to struggle if he starts, his accuracy is terrible and is heavily turnover prone. Ty Simpson should’ve been the starter from day 1. Before people start pulling the race card, this has nothing to do with it. I was a huge fan of Jalen Hurts, Tua, Young. But Milroe is nowhere close to the consistency of those guys, he is more of a poor man’s Blake Sims.

jalen Milford is an incredibly talented QB who bama initially turned down but regretted later on. He actually did quite good against Texas, but may need to play a bit better to meet bama standards. However lucky for bama fans Saban will make sure that the team does better moving forward and I believe Saban will push Milroe and the rest of the bama team to their greatest potential in order to reach the top 4 like before 😁

I'm not a 'Bama hater but no way should they be ranked #3 even this early in the season. They will improve and their defense looks better than offense right and that will be balanced as Saban and his staff will get them back in the CFP talk. Texas should jump up into the Top 10. Alabama OC needs to work with Milroe on reading defenses better but he may struggle this season. Finebaum is correct if Alabama lose another game no way they should be mentioned for CFP.

I am surprised how small and weak the Bama players looked. I thought Bama had strong people.

12 team playoff next year. This was the last year CFB would be decent. NIL and money have ruined college football. Next year they’ll let teams like UCF and Texas Tech into the playoff and it won’t even be fun to watch. More of a chance for kids to get hurt. I find it really hard to believe that people aren’t giving Sark enough credit. Sark had Bama confused. Ewers/arch manning and Nick Saban himself could’ve thrown the ball on Bama last night. It was all schemed up by Sark. He’s one of the best offensive minds in CFB. If you really get down to it Texas owes it all to Bama anyway. Sark wouldn’t be the HC if it wasn’t for Saban and Bama. 😂😂😂 CFB is wild I hope Colorado wins it all, but they’ll probably drop 2 out of the next three games they play.

I wonder if these so called analysts get paid to give bad takes? It’s obvious Alabama was the better team and Texas strategically took advantage of Milroe’s inability to play QB. You can’t play perfect defense in this day and age so don’t expect the usual low scoring games anymore. Alabama defensively played great and they played 80 MINUTES bc offensively bad QB Milroe couldn’t sustain short drives so what more do you expect from them. Texas had 30 people in the box and LITERALLY BEGGED Milroe to complete a pass. This isn’t rocket science and you don’t need an analyst to figure this out. In this new age of football the QB play matters and Texas QB Ewers was head and shoulders above the terrible Milroe. Ewers definitely has a bright future.

Quinn Ewers made a serious push for the Heisman last night. I still favor J.J. McCarthy, but Ewers can surge ahead if he beats Oklahoma in the Red River Shootout. Sam Hartman is a dark horse because of how well Notre Dame is playing. All depends on team success going forward I don't put much stock into Caleb Williams or Michael Penix because the Pac-12 isn't a major conference to most people. Have to do it in the Big Ten, SEC, or ACC to catch people's attention
