The way this ended brings me hope for future races. Those 2 guys gave it hell and ran hard. Its nice to see people walking away smiling after racing for $$. I know people are in it for the cash, its just nice seeing it be about the race. Fred you did a great job out there. Good footage and driver interviews. 1320 brings the heat again on street racing.

To be fair they split the pot and it looked like a $1k buy in so probably $11k a piece and that would barely pay for the motor in one of those cars.

This is one the best vids if not the best in 2023. Love the friendship those guys have that’s what racing’s all about..

@@realtespa8956 I think the point is that in certain circumstances while technically illegal, they are attempting to do this in a fashion that minimizes risk to others. I didn't see any other cars or innocent people at risk of getting injured here. This is a lot different than other types of crime that involve hurting others like theft, burglary, robbery, assault, etc.. It's good racing content for sure. Speeding and racing is illegal, because there is instances where it is very dangerous. Meets like this attempt to minimize that.

1320 is single handedly out here saving street racing. Fantastic video guys!

You know it's probably a good thing that second spot got oiled down... That blind hill is super sketchy, not hard to imagine something going way wrong with that. Thanks for the awesome content you guys. Not many people ballsy enough to stand 5 feet away from 6000 lbs and 2800 hp heading straight towards you at insane speeds on unprepped concrete...behind a blind hill.

I grew up in DFW, moved away a long time ago, but I miss the street racing scene there so damn much. Mobbing out with 50+ cars around different industrial parks all night long was so fun. Especially when the cops show up and everyone scrambles XD

Yea I can relate! There was nothing like it! I grew up pretty much my whole life in DFW, I hope to go back soon someday! Fast cars, beautiful girls, and the food was AMAZING! Plenty to do in Texas!

The late 80's through 2002 the street races in Dallas were definitely awesome. I remember heading out around midnight and coming home with the sun already up. Those were the days! Astro, Carter, Luna Rd, Emerald, Centennial Liquor store on Northwest Highway, Mint Way which is right around the corner where they concluded this cash days, Dowdy Ferry Rd, hanging out at Fenders on Northwest Highway before heading over to Manana and California Crossing for all nighters. I still have my foxbody from back then. I still have one of my old windshield banners that has Street Lethal Performance on it. The good ole days!!!

I think peak of underground street racing is in Sweden. The Stockholm Open. It's hard to say it's not in the states, but check it out if you haven't heard of it

Great video, as always. I've followed your site and channel for ages, watching Parish's truck do dyno pulls and such. Great stuff.

What an adrenaline rush! The coverage, the drivers, the slick street, the cops and constant new spots. So damn cool!

I miss the days when street racing events were just huge parties and people raced what they drove and scattered when the cops showed up. It is weird seeing tailored track cars showing up.

June 2024 and this cash days is still my absolute favorite to come back and re watch. Sportsmanship and good racing

This video was awesome as always. This was one was the most hilarious of them all in my opinion, no arguing, no girls screaming and fighting and everyone just throwing jokes around. Bones made my jaw drop on that race at the 31:35 mark.

I grew up in DFW and the car scene is like no other. What I mean is that you have anything and everything out there ranging from imports, exotics, muscle cars, trucks, bikes, you name it it's out there. I moved about a year ago to Tennessee for college and the car scene while cool, just ain't the same. I will say a big plus though of being out here in the hills of Tennessee is all the sweet tight and twisty backroads.
