Texas SH130 Intelligent Infrastructure Economic Zone Overview

Ғылым және технология

The SH130 is the Route 66 of Intelligent Infrastructure. The Corridor has over a dozen operational zones defined to support public safety, real estate developments, construction, routine inspections, maintenance & sustainment, delivery & logistics, and many more.
It is also the first Intelligent Infrastructure Economic Zone, which has multiple investment and industry partners engaged to enable dozens of valuable solutions and services to master planned communities and commercial developments within the Central Texas Region. The SH130 Route 66 Intelligent Infrastructure and Regional ASOCC (SH130-IIEZ) will enable several solutions and services to the communities, developers, and operators; including Broadband for all and Resilient Supply Chains.
SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES:
1. Public Safety and Response, 2. Autonomous Mobility Districts, 3. Intelligent Infrastructure Labs, and 4. Distributed Work Centers.
The initial region, spanning approximately 150 sq. miles, is a testament to the vast potential of this project. It encompasses over $60 billion in active projects and is home to dozens of supporting organizations. Notable locations include Highway 79, SH130, 45 Expressway, Highway 290, Blue Bluff, Decker Lake, RR 969, Highway 71, FM 812, and surrounding zones.
Intelligent Infrastructure touches the day-to-day life of each of our fellow citizens, and its deployment is crucial to the overall competitiveness and prosperity of our country. Intelligent Infrastructure (the foundation of ARPA-I) goes beyond transportation and will be the brains of our economy. Providing advanced city services, resilient and carbon-free economies, closing the technology divide, enabling autonomous systems, and most important; securing data for people, cities, and governments.
The Economic Impact of Intelligent Infrastructure will be measured in the billions in economic expansion, which will Save Lives and create millions of new jobs.
The SH130 Region will be one of the nation's first Intelligent, Autonomous, and Electrified Corridors. The Autonomy Institute is collaborating with operating partners, Texas cities and agencies on a regional deployment of Intelligent Infrastructure. This facility will also support the nation's first ASOCC, supporting operations from several industries in a safe, secure, and collaborative environment. This intelligent corridor will support automated freight and delivery; intelligent and autonomous vehicles; and advanced services to communities along the corridor. This Intelligent Infrastructure will also eliminate the digital divide and accelerate Texas into the 21st century with jobs, economic growth, and stronger more resilient communities.
First Regional ASOCC.
Autonomous Systems Operational Control Centers (ASOCC) will support persistent operations to provide safe, secure, and collaborative public and private deployments of the Intelligent Infrastructure that will enable Industry 4.0 systems. As we embrace more advanced systems within cities and states there has to be a unified Active Digital Twin from the power grid up.
Regional ASOCCs Includes:
Integrated Transportation
Teleoperations
Cyber Security Operations
Autonomous Systems
Emergency Operations
Advanced Air Mobility
Supply Chain Logistics
Electrical Grid Resilience
ASOCCs are being developed as Public-Private Partnerships (P3), very similar to the structure used by the aviation industry with commercial airports. P3s are becoming a key driver for supporting the deployment of intelligent and autonomous infrastructure with cities and states.
These new operational control centers would support a number of public/private organizations like state departments of transportation, emergency management, low-altitude urban air operations, and a growing list of industry partners looking to accelerate a “Path to Commerce” for autonomous systems.
