Just have to let the season unroll. 10-2 is feasible.11-1 is achievable. 12-0 is possible. Since Texas does not play FCS cupcakes it has a full P4 CFB schedule unlike any other SEC program. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿

UTSA and ULM are your cupcakes. You're playing 2 lower level opponents just like everyone else in the conference. Don't pretend you're not. Plus you have Colorado State which should be an easy win. Add to that the pretty easy schedule the conference gave you and you have an easy schedule. A lot easier than most in the SEC.

How to tell everyone you don't know what a cupcake game is. I know they are G5 teams. They are still cupcake games. They are much lower in talent and resources than you are and a much smaller school that you should have an easy time beating. These things make them a cupcake game.

Yup I can stomach 10-2 but think that 11-1 sounds right. The gauntlet is pretty tough to think running the table with OU, Georgia, Michigan and maybe TAM too. 3 out of 4 of those and then go to CFP with at least 1st round win is a great year. Loosing to OU and TAM would suck. So would losing to either of them but to both, people would get upset. All said baring catastropic injuries too. We have huge talented depth to weather a storm, but the preseason on paper drill is assuming all your best players are playing.

Texas' only regular season loss is maybe the Georgia game, that's my prediction

First year in the SEC. 10-2 or 11-1 would be acceptable. Less than that would be disappointing. Just me. Hook'um

I think we are overlooking UM at home. We can win it, but need at least an A- performance. The UGA game will be rough being the week after OU. Any record with a playoff birth (ideally #5 or #6) is a solid season!

Any total that includes wins over OU, Texas Ag & Mechanical College and get into the playoffs is sufficient.

I would love 11-1 with a loss to UGA and a revenge win in the SEC championship game!!

With Georgia at home 12-0

Pains me to say it, but they'll win at least 10.

11-1 and beat OU. I’m good with that. Texas should be favored in every game except UGA.

Look as a Texas I know there’s fans of our who aren’t happy with anything less than 12-0 and predict 12-0 too. Knowing how hard it is for anyone to do it. 10-2 at the least and the losses depends on how we play in those games and others. Of course 11-1. 9-3 would not be great and hopefully it means the worst possible things you can think of happened in football to get you there. I wanna be playing our best ball at the end and make the playoffs. Win one game there at the minimum

10-2 would be just fine. Georgia is better on paper, and then you have a neutral site rivalry game and an away rivalry game. On paper Texas wins both, but in reality, both of those games can go either way, given the nature of these rivalry games. 11-1 on paper, 10-2 in reality.

@@taylorjohnson6122 lol. Seriously, though, they got better at every position but the two DTs, but still brought in two proven DTs from Arizona. The pass rush will be far better with the addition of Moore, as will the secondary with the addition of Mkuba and the CB transfer

Also, what excuse do you have for last year against that same team? The year prior going 5-7 because all of Herman’s guys transferred out?? You do realize most Texas secondary is returning, good portion of them were freshmen and sophomore’s starting. With exception of a cb and safety, I think they will give up points, but not like you think. They will be just fine they have been a bend don’t break defense for passed 2 years. And it will be the same
