One of the great things about living in Texas is living on a lake and the area around Austin, Texas has 7 different man made lakes in which to buy your dream home. Austin Texas lake houses run from just over $1 million dollars and can cost as much as $30 million dollars. In this video, we look at 4 Austin area lake homes in the $6.5 million to $9 million dollar range.
Texas Lake Living means swimming pools, boat docks and boat houses, stunning views of the lake and the Texas hill country and acreage. Plenty of room to stretch out in and around the 7 lakes near Austin.
Austin is the state capital of Texas, an inland city bordering the Hill Country region. Home to the University of Texas flagship campus, Austin is known for its eclectic live-music scene centered around country, blues and rock. I lived in Austin TX long enough to have say in the city. I worked for Austin Film Festival one year and teched for ColdTowne Theater for like 3 years.
I honestly love this lake n living here but I wish to have lotsa acreage all to myself . Not sure if there is any available left . I been here n it’s so beautiful n peaceful. I love this home lake view but ideally I wants to dream my own house 😅 I can def see myself retiring here that is if they have lotsa acres lake views for me so later on my kids can build their home next to me 😅 plus I want to turn into my tropical garden n fruits

Like the North is a perfect place to live. However. It’s a matter of money, and who can carry a conversation. Otherwise UT College kids eat it alive.
