My new favorite jetty!

I am a life long angler. Dad started me at 3yrs old, sitting on an upside down bucket in the rain with a garbage bag raincoat. I am retired now and living abroad. Everywhere I travel to, I am looking for the fisherman/pier/lake/jetty. I love that you fish and am super proud to see how you have monetized your biz from an authentic, ethical perspective. I'll be back home for a visit in June and will place my order. Can't wait to send you pics of your rigs catching fish on my next trip back to Morocco. One Love!

roughly 40+ years ago my brother and I used to fish this jetty and it was all just broken rock you had to cross to get where you are(the walk had not been paved yet). We would get in on bull red runs and have caught 45+lb reds there. Funny you talking about slipping our little brother begged us into tagging along on one trip and just as the bite started and we got the first fish to the jetty my little brother slipped and split his head open. We had to pack up and take him to the hospital where he left with 7 stitches. Both brothers are now fishing with the angels but this video brought back many memories TY.

Nice collaboration with Carlos. I've been watching his vids for a while now. I'm headed to OBX next week, hopefully I can get on a few reds myself!

It was really great to see you in TEXAS. I moved here over 30 years ago and I Love fishing the Galveston area. Beach Bomber You are The Bomb! Thanks again Brother for another great video and I really enjoyed seeing you in our “ Neck of the Woods”. ❤️

I used to fish a lot when I was younger. My friends all worked on the fishing boats so I never had to to pay to fish and we knew all the great spots off the beach and piers and jetty. I miss those days fishing with friends. So these fishing blogs are entertaining to me. Especially since all of these guys really know thier area.

Enjoyed this video! I was actually in Galveston, fishing in the surf 4/20-4/23. It was so windy, gusting over 25 mph. All I caught from the surf were catfish and some whiting. Keep doing your stuff and welcome to Texas!

The water at Surfside, TX is discolored from the Brazos River mouth that feeds into the Gulf about 5 miles Southwest of the jetty you are on. The Brazos has been on flood or near flood for most of the time from Hurricane Harvey in 2017 until summer of 2021. That dumped a massive ammount of silt and clay into the nearshore an only a little wind stirs it up. Also the Texas coast has much higher energy winds than Florida.

Awesome teamwork. That’s what makes fishing fun.

Was an awesome day!

Was out there twice on Easter weekend. Caught 2 bonnet heads, 2 gaftops and one whiting. Wishin I had the proper tackle to throw some mullet, but I don’t right now.

Wow what a great day of fishing I actually went there this Sunday the bite wasn't as hot no jacks. I really wish I could caught yall out there. Love the content as usual keep it up.

I love how you go to a bunch of different places to fish. Learn so much from different locations. Like being able to get away with wire leaders and stuff. Another this I personally love is going to different bait shops. From mom and pops to big stores is always fun. Tight lines

I have fished the TX coast many times in the 12 years I lived there that was a nice red thank you for the great videos you bring to youtube.

Whoat! Glad to see ya get onto some Red Fish and sharks are every where. Yep here in the upper coast of Texas the water is dirty/sandy compared to FL because of the Mississippi river coming down from North MN. If you went offshore about 10-12 miles it would be clear like Florida. Then again towards the Southern tip of Texas, towrds Port Isabel it's clean and green with Pompano and all. Thanks and ya'll come back you hear!

Hey You Two, Another great video. You guys always find some nice and long jetties to fish from. It also seems like every fish you all catch have teeth. About the only fish around here that have anything like teeth are the catfish with the sandpaper mouth and gar. I've told you before I've been watching your past videos. Today I've finished watching every video you've made to date. You've came along in your video productions. Oh, I've always wondered what "Suitcase Erin" was. Now I know (lol). Awesome! Wow beautiful texas...reminds me of Huntington Beach years ago. All of the oil rigs and industrial buildings. Fortunately there is a small cliff so thier out of sight when you were on the beach.

Great video. I've been watching you and beach bomber since forever. Whenever you come back down to Texas, you should definitely try the rivers going down the spillway into Galveston bay . They hold huge alligator gar! Tons of fun to catch. Fresh dead chunk mullet and crappie is the best candy!
