I'm glad he cut down on a lot of the stick tricks. He used to do them constantly in his resting hand, which made them kinda boring, cause he was doing them all the time. Now, he focuses more on keeping his drumming fresh, with the occasional stick trick. So stuff like 2:43 is super hype.

The transitions in 3:20 brings a tear to my eye of how fluid it is..

It was on fire metal drummers with tight drum kits and drum videos like this back in the day that inspired me to get my own kit and start slamming!

Those cymbal chokes are so goddamn clean, holy shit, even the stick choke at 2:50 , goddamn boi, well done

I love that snare sound. The sticks look like they're floating in his hands! Amazing effortless stick control. It's strangely fun to re-watch again in mute too just to watch the sticks fly around.

This is really amazing, steady power is maintained, success is always bro

To be honest I prefer the sound of this version to the ones posted before! The drums sound excellent here and for me it's kind of easier to follow his drumming. :)

Probably well known by yourself but they're great friends and Adam has been ABR's drum tech for a long time, even stepped in for him while Matt was on his honeymoon or some shit

RL-R-RL Quadruplet fill ( I think that's what its called) thats snare hit would be on the left hand, followed by an immediate 16th note(dotted) right hand China, 8th note left hand splash into that breakdown. This probably made no sense

tell me you grow up listening to TIJ and ABR without telling me you grew up listening to them

I like how tight his kit is set up. He doesn't have to be flexible to play it.

+NathanDrums Thanks man. I know, it sounds like a beast, it more shimmery sounding. I just like a more natural looking cymbal. I know all of their cymbals but I just haven't got the money to spent. For now the Stagg DH china works great, it is just really trashy. My favorite china from zildjian would be the 18 inch oriental trash china.
