I'm glad he cut down on a lot of the stick tricks. He used to do them constantly in his resting hand, which made them kinda boring, cause he was doing them all the time. Now, he focuses more on keeping his drumming fresh, with the occasional stick trick. So stuff like 2:43 is super hype.

I love that snare sound. The sticks look like they're floating in his hands! Amazing effortless stick control. It's strangely fun to re-watch again in mute too just to watch the sticks fly around.

RL-R-RL Quadruplet fill ( I think that's what its called) thats snare hit would be on the left hand, followed by an immediate 16th note(dotted) right hand China, 8th note left hand splash into that breakdown. This probably made no sense

+NathanDrums Thanks man. I know, it sounds like a beast, it more shimmery sounding. I just like a more natural looking cymbal. I know all of their cymbals but I just haven't got the money to spent. For now the Stagg DH china works great, it is just really trashy. My favorite china from zildjian would be the 18 inch oriental trash china.
