Ain't many things changed! I love this video. Sure do miss our old timers. They were a true treasure.

I have had the pleasure to work with many of the Texas hands here on the north border. I have met many of the older Texas Wardens at our 5 State meeting we have with them. My Lt. has been working over 40 years for Oklahoma. He worked with the guys from this generation. I love to hear all those stories. What is great is, you can count on the same type of stories happening today. I guess you know the pleasures and dis-pleasures of being in a warden's family. Lot's of dinners, activities, and things missed because of a call. All the folks coming up to your table and saying "I hate to bother you, but I have a question.". My wife wont even tell people what I do anymore. LOL
The harmonica at 15 minutes is like from midnight cowboy movie with john voight and dustin hoffman.
Awesome video! Very inspiring! This is a dream career!

I'm currently in the process of getting my degree and then off to Texas game warden training academy!
