New Army never fails to disappoint me. Flash mobs in the MSC a few years ago (stop reading now if you didn't think that was disrespectful), and now this in front of Academic Plaza? Sully would be weep to see more people showed up for this than will be at Silver Taps in two months (everyone goes w/ FC or their dorms to the first one; come talk to me when you have gone to 3). This is the 1st time that I am glad to be a former student and not a current one; thanks and Gig em New Army.

@KTAggie10 i think someone already mentioned this, but academic plaza is filled with students hanging out and enjoying their off-time every single day (or at least every day where it's not 110 degrees!). if you come to the academic plaza during a nice crisp fall day or a sunny spring afternoon, you'll see frisbees, slacklines, hammocks, unicycles (a whoop). you'll see people studying, drawing, listening to music, and yes, even dancing. it doesn't devalue silver taps or any such nonsense.

As a University of Texas alumni, I can't stand Texas A&M - but I will say this, few schools in that state could show more respect to the memory of those we lost on that day and in tribute to the men and women who have died in the wars since than Texas A&M.
