Tewkesbury Medieval Festival 2023 Vlog || Medieval Reenactors and Living History
At the beginning of July, Mark and I went to the Tewkesbury Medieval Festival, the first time we'd been to the festival in 4 years! I really love Tewkesbury and the festival is always a lot of fun. The living history camp in particular is always of great interest to me, I love seeing what life would've been like all those centuries ago.
We've had such rubbish weather this summer, but thankfully the rain stopped during the day, although we did get caught in a downpour at the end as you will see!

We were there last year as well. The downpour at the end was absolutely nuts. It was very muggy the whole day compared to 2022 when it was sooooo damn hot

Yes that downpour was crazy, couldn’t believe we got caught in it! Maybe one year we might get a Tewkesbury where the weather is spot on 😂

KZread is not the best with notifications sometimes 🙈 I was very soggy and damp and had to sit through the journey home like that, it was icky 😄

It was so bad because I really wanted to snuggle my face into its feathers and give him a cuddle, but it’s a bird of prey with big sharp talons who does not like cuddling 🤣🤣

I honestly don’t know how they do it! It’s either boiling hot and they’re melting in their armour, or it’s cooler but just as humid and they’re still melting in their armour 😂 The dedication, I’m glad they do it though bless ‘em!

Can neither confirm nor deny helping the guys out of their armour post battle is equally hilarious and super gross. Tewkesbury this year was the worst combination of heat, humidity and possiblity for Kentucky fried reenactor post freak storm
