it's because back in the days, charisma was a big factor for group and their ability to capture fans, nowadays, idols focus on performance usually, which is also attention seeking, but if you see a hard and great performance next to another one, it feels the same and constant, idols who focus on entertaining the audience are not common these days, they are a performer for a reason, they perform for the audience

I still stand by my conviction 7 years later that this sole performance literally CHANGED the Kpop industry as a whole. After this, everyone was doing bdsm-inspired outfits, very sexy choreos and pushing the limits further and further. These two paved the way with this performance!! 💖

100%. i don’t think anyone realized just how much of an impact that this song and performance had on kpop

I find it weird that people said Hyuna looks unhappy performing like this with Hyunseung compared to now with E-Dawn. Troublemaker was like 8-10 years ago. Hyuna was much younger then and most likely hella nervous. What people may not realise is that off-stage, Hyuna and Hyunseung were really comfy with each other. So saying things like, she looked pissed and didn't look comfortable performing with Hyunseung makes Hyunseung look bad.

iamnotjack LOL, I think everything ended up pretty well for Hyunseung, I mean he got to be in B2ST, which though not as popular as BigBang, is still pretty darn popular and he also got to be in troublemaker, from what I know about HyunA's popularity amongst guys in Korea (from a Korean friend), a lot of guys would be willing to give up their groups if they could form a duo with her. Hats off to YG and Cube though, they have both created fantastic groups.

Hyunseung is going to appear on a show called Double Trouble this 24 December. Please look out for it! It's a show to find the next duo like Troublemaker (him and Hyuna) and it will feature idols like Hyolyn, Minzy, etc so it will be epic!

This duo was so perfect. And I'm aware that k-pop these days has become a space hater of group interactions, but that old times were gold. Hyunseung and Hyuna will be forever remembered for the 2 álbuns masterpiece they released together.

Christian Grey is a horrible person who doesn't know the meaning of consent. Therefore no, he really shouldnt be the Korean Christian grey, that's be an insult to him

Hyunseung was obviously having problems with the mic. You can see him struggling from the very beginning and if you focus enough you will notice that his voice is a little shaky and not as clear as Hyuna's. I'm not sure if Hyuna is lip-syncing or not, but I don't think they'll let Hyunseung sing and Hyuna lip-sync.

they were both lip-syncing we could barely hear their voice on the music, but it was maybe better like this to avoid fails during a live stage as expected!

@crystal As someone who has been a kpop fan for 13 years I can say fan are MUCH more toxic now. Yes there have always been bad extreme people but it is so common place now and such a terrible environment
