it's actually impressive how each piece behaves differently (and they continue behaving that way when another piece lands on them)

A list of each Tetromino effect, in order of first appearance: I-block "Hero" = Ice: breaks after a set amount of impacts, causes cosmetic change to dirt J-block "Blue Ricky" = Piston: activates after a set time, moving itself or other blocks (slides when moving on ice) T-block "Teewee" = Slime: softens impacts, nullifies damage to ice O-block "Smashboy" = Sand: affected by gravity, will fill 2 spaces in each of the 2 columns its placed in S-block "Rhode Island Z" = Grass: cosmetic change near ice, grows a tree next to water Z-block "Cleveland Z" = Terracotta: ordinary block L-block "Orange Ricky" = Water: flows to lowest accessible point, causes grass to grow a tree

What were those names in parentheses? It reminds me of what nicknames me and my siblings call the Tetriminos. :P I-block, Straightez L-block, Right L J-block, Back L O-block, cubix T-block, Short-T Z-block, Crook-eft S-block, Crook-right Weird, I know, but I still stick with it when saying it to myself or my siblings. Still pretty funny. 😁

This is insanely detailed. Probably making the camera move and zoom took a loong time

Mechanics if this was a real tetris game: Ice: slides the blocks on top of it Piston: activates every now and again Sand: has gravity Grass block: something grows on it eventually Slime/Jelly: bounces blocks on top of it Water: has gravity and flows Also: If ice is beside grass, grass turns to snowy grass and can't grow anything

Now next award for the best minecraft editor in the whole world goes to pacckker. I have never seen such an amazing and cool animation out of minecraft 🤯🤯🤯 And I know how tuff it is to make the structure with same texture as the actual block Omg! you are absolute legend

How about, Tetris 2: Periodic Table. I even have a block type idea! A wood block that will burn when some sort of fire block or other hot block is slotted next to it.

An almost 3 minute long time lapse. It may not look like much but in reality that must have taken FOREVER. This is the best stop motion I've seen. Definitely leaving a like 🤙😎🔥

Thanks for watching! I spent 60 hours for give form to ideas, but most difficult thing was generating many ideas as possible. Do you feel this elapsed time is short?

it hurt my soul to see him place the T piece at 2:10 there like you couldve cleared a line and made room for the I block

Nice attention of details! Such as at 1:59 the grass nearest to the ice transitions into a snowy grass block
