Telangana state teacher eligibility tests will be conducted from May 20 to June 2 in a computer-based testing (CBT) mode. Guidelines TET 2024 GUIDELINE have been released for this occasion.
The written exams will be held on May 20, 21, 22, 24, 28, 29, 30, 31, and June 1, 2.
Education department officials have completed arrangements for the exams starting tomorrow to ensure no inconvenience to the candidates. A total of 2,86,386 candidates have applied for TET across the state. Out of these, 99,958 candidates will appear for Paper-1, and 1,86,428 candidates will appear for Paper-2.
Important guidelines have been released for the candidates appearing for the TET exams.
Every day, the first session will be from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second session will be from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The exam center gates will be closed 15 minutes before the start of the exam. This means that for the morning session, the gates will be closed at 8:45 AM, and for the afternoon session, the gates will be closed at 1:45 PM.
Due to the implementation of the biometric system, candidates will be allowed into the exam centers from one and a half hours before the start of the exam.
Officials have advised candidates to bring their hall ticket, a black/blue ballpoint pen, and a photo identification card.
Calculators, logarithm tables, pagers, cell phones, smartwatches, and electronic items will not be allowed, as clarified by the officials.
They have warned that legal action will be taken if the rules are violated.
