Nice looking wind generator but you likely need a 12-volt or 24-volt wind controller, unless you live in a very high wind zone. It takes much stronger winds to generate 48-volts, which means that you are losing a lot of wind energy, being generated in the 12 to 24 volt range. You can dump your 48 volt controller and swap over to a 12 or 24 volt controller without much difficulty but you will also need to use a battery match configuration with a controller change.

@@gotzonmartin7985 After watching some vids, and reading about vertical turbines.. it made me wonder.. this probably is good for something like maintaining the battery at 12V and when you need it, you use it. It won't give you any power right way, it's a non-constant charge, so maximum what you could do is charging powerbank with it during the day, or smtng similar. I think this would work well for having led lights in the night on your land or smtng.

*All practical tests show that all small wind turbines hardly generate any electricity.* And mostly at costs very above 1$/kWh! There is hardly any wind close to the ground & extremely gusty, which always reduces the lifespan of the systems. *Solar panels, on the other hand, generate electricity reliably for 25 years at approx. 5-10 cents/kWh!* Only those who need to be self-sufficient from the power grid should therefore install a wind turbine.
