Testing Wizard Advanced x Them 909 Skates
It was super fun giving this @Themskates and @WizardSkating combo a try. Keep an eye out for a review coming later this week!

@@CamGoodTimes thanks😄 This might take a few weeks. 😅
I have Them 909 boots and Im thinking to try the PR80 frames I'm a little afraid that the soulplate will hit the ground with the pr80 do you know if that can happen? I think no but i prefer to ask first preciated your help really nice video

Thanks for the feedback! In my experience so far, it's pretty hard to carve deep enough for that to happen. The advanced frames are also a similar height off the ground as the PR80's. I think you will have a great time with it!

@@CamGoodTimes many thanks for your help really preciated, I read it for small Them 909 boots (im 41 size EU) is better the Pr76 ?
@CamGoodTimes
Жыл бұрын
Sure thing! PR76 will provide you a shorter turn radius and somewhat more maneuverability for your foot size, and I can see that frame working wonderfully on some 909's as well.
Man you’re such an inspiration. How long have you been skating for?

Wow, thank you for such kind words! I skated a little off and on as a kid, and got back into it 2 years ago.

@@CamGoodTimes how often do you skate? That inspires me to hear! I've been back onto skating for around two months and am learning a lot but definitely can't do stuff like this yet.
@CamGoodTimes
Жыл бұрын
@@my-spinning-wheel I usually skate 5 to 6 days a week. Just lots of repetition (even if you have occasional short sessions) will help you learn fast! I recommend also recording yourself to see what can be adjusted as you learn.

@@CamGoodTimes That is good advice, I am trying to get more air for 180 jumps, which I can do but only very low, and video will probably be helpful there. Usually skating 3-4 times a week ideally. Nothing like it!

Interesting.. I’m on the edge of getting wizard NR100 for my them 909 (stock liner). Some say that it would be unresponsive.. Do you think It’s a good idea?

@@CamGoodTimes yeah huh that’s interesting, just yesterday was doing these in my Seba’s and didn’t have them laces tight enough. Sure enough the ankle felt mildly sore from a lack of responsiveness. The tools change the muscles used for sure.

@@briansparks1632 man they really do. Perhaps all the time I previously spent wizarding with FR1s helped a bit to keep stable with these.
