I've noticed that most people tend to start preferring cream products in their mid-20s; I have a pet theory that as teenagers and in early 20s, we're all so self-conscious about our greasy puberty faces that we just want to look as dry as possible to try to combat it, then as we age out of that phase, we realize our previous hyper-matte routine isn't nearly as flattering when we aren't fighting the oil we used to have.

Some of us still prefer all matte makeup and are struggeling both with trends and with our now much dryer skin wich not always like the full matte look 😔

100%! It's the matte textures age you more. Double wear used to be my ride or die, but when I hit 30 I've now had to change to nars radiant (which is AMAZING btw!), and cream products, as otherwise it accentuates EVERY line, and makes you see lines and wrinkles you never knew you had! And actually ages you! Cream products and non matte formulas are so much more youthful looking :-)

When I was a teen I had oily skin and after having kids my face is on the dry side a drugstore foundation that I love on my skin is covergirl simply ageless 3 in 1 hydrates my skin looks nice never cakey so I love it

For the NYX lipgloss if you actually fully let the color dry and put the gloss on, you have to let it really sit and sink into your lips and it actually gives that moisturized gloss look and the gloss doesn’t come off too much. I had mine under a mask and it still looked glossy when it came off!

I wish you’d try the tarte sea collection! Their eyeshadow is bomb!

Mine too! I've found that exfoliating that area really well before a big makeup application (I'm a performer, so sometimes crazy heavy gross makeup is unfortunately thing) helps with that A LOT. I usually wash and exfoliate my face about an hour before makeup, and let my moisturizer absorb in the meantime, and since I've been doing that it's been like night and day. Give it a whack!

Absolutely love the kiko stick. They have amazing cream blushes as wel as baked bronzer and blushes. You should do a full face. Some products from older collections are now on sale!

I love the lipstick so much! I got the same colour and it looks so good. It does not smudge at all, and it’s so hard to get off. You don’t have to use the gloss all the time with the lipstick, you can also use chapstick
