I see that it'll pull down but what whats critical when you're buying a used one of these is that you have a shut off valve hooked up right at it and before you turn the pump off turn the shut off out and see if the micron gauge holds internally

is it normal for micron gagues to shoot up like that after just turning off the pump?

IH8U In this case it’s expected because I didn’t valve the gauge off before shutdown.
