Another great video, thanks for taking the time to film it. If you set the green speed or stimp did you think the eye mini was pretty realistic in terms of distance the ball travelled when putting. Thanks again Neil👍

Thanks! No idea really. That was a target green so it was super slow and the eye mini just gives you a ball speed and side angle for putts. I'd have to know the stimp, roll distance, and slope (plus math) to figure it out. All I know is that the Eye Mini records ball speed 1 to 1.5 mph faster on putts than the GCQuad does. At least it did on a previous firmware version. Not sure which is most accurate.

Great video! I'm looking to set up a golf sim with the GC3, but after seeing this and your balance mat video, I'm starting to lean towards Uneekor. If you were starting out and choosing between these, which way would you go? I want to primarily use GSPro

It can be a tough decision between those two. If you think you want to invest in other things like the swing optix cameras and the balance mat, uneekor has a better "ecosystem" of peripherals like that. If your top priority is data accuracy then I trust the GC3 more (that's not saying uneekor is bad though). Feel free to shoot me an email: Bobby@friendlygolfer.com

Really informative video especially if wondering whether it's actually with paying the extra money for the unit with inbuilt display and battery for outdoor use. It definitely seems usable outdoors! I wonder why the GC3 doesn't allow its cameras to be accessed for visual contact feedback. You would think it would give a similar picture as the Eye-Mini.

I agree, it seems like they could easily add that feature. I saw that it was on Foresight’s list of potential updates in their app but I don’t know if it will ever happen.

How did the EM shot shape match the actual shot shape and ball flight?

It seemed to match from what I saw but to be honest I didn't pay too much attention to it especially after I started moving to different lies. I was looking at the impact video mostly. I've thought about trying to do a comparison but outdoors wind will affect the flight so it might be tough to compare.

How does GCQuad handle outdoors? How often do the fiducials fall off? How does it work with iPad/gaming laptop outdoors?

I should do a video on this. The foresight units are super fast to turn on, set down, align and start hitting. Probably takes 1 minute. The four fiducials used for the quad do not do well after using outdoors. They will likely be too dirty are damaged to work after one day of outdoor use. Using the single dot at the top seems to stay on forever because it’s out of the way. Unfortunately it reduces the data measured (gives you the gc3 numbers only). I prefer just using the screen on the quad but if I wanted to I would use my iPad with FSX Pro connected via the quads WiFi.

Very helpful video. Club optix is definitely the draw to purchase a uneekor over a GC3

It's pretty cool and unique to Eye Mini. I'm surprised Foresight hasn't released their own version of it yet.

Great video. Eye min is a no brainer at $3500 for a photometric unit, but at $4500 it loses to a GC3 or BLP. Hopefully, Uneekord brings back the $3500 price point.
