I think the foundation shade and the tone are both excellent. A lot of foundations today seem to be too warm for everyone - this one blends into your skin tone perfectly. Looks like your own skin. Beautiful!

I just got the new Mac foundation and I love it. I have been trying different foundations for a year. I like the Fenty foundation, but this has it beat it stays on all day with a hydrating primer underneath. I have very, very dry skin and no flaking I’m so happy.

I’m also noticing foundations are looking more yellow on myself as well. I tried the new studio fix formula foundation and I’m so impressed with it. On me it looks perfect ALL DAY. I have very textured skin. I used two very light coats and got full coverage, no caking whatsoever. Doesn’t emphasize lines on me. The primer matters. I tried several to get the perfect look. I used the makeup forever powder to set the foundation. PERFECTION ❤

OMG your mup today is absolutely ethereal. All the textures and colors worked so well together to create an absolutely flawless, airbrushed look. I received the Merit Day Glow balm in "Bounce" as part of a $75 sale of the "Le Fete Edition" in Dec 2022. I was so disappointed as I like other Merit products but this didn't even show up on my lt-med mature normal-dry skin. However, after seeing Solstice on you I'm very tempted to try another shade though I kind of hesitate after all the $ I spent at the Sephora Spring Sale.

I agree with you about the NARS concealer. I tried it and it made my undereyes crease. I went back to my ELF Cameo hydrating concealer which I love which you recommended.

Have u tried The new Sephora GLOW concealer? is soooooo moisturizing!!!! It’s like a tinted eye cream .. it plumped up my under eyes no setting no cracks no creases natural finish … like incredible!!!! When I swatch it on the back of your hand I was like whoa that’s different LOL! it feels like skincare so creamy … LOVE IT!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 and I love the KOSAS lip balms soooo much THANK YOU! I love the Mac Studio Fix. Works great on my oily skin. I like the new formula better. I was scared because Estee Double Wear and Mac Studio Fix are my only foundations.

N16 looks light to me. I tried the new formulation. I think the original had better coverage.The shade I tried was NC27 which was a teeny bit dark.

I ordered the regular Nars Orgasm in sephora haul. Waiting to arrive. May like the matte one better that you used. Not sure I will like the shimmer for skin texture.

I have never had success using a brush to apply foundation. I have BK Beauty brushes and I like them for everything except applying foundation. I use my fingers and/or a beauty blender.

I can’t do that new brush technique, I’ve tried it bc of Risa does makeup, but, and maybe I don’t know how to wash my brushes, but it was sooooo difficult to get the foundation out of my brush

I didn't have any luck with that technique either, looked cakey. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I much prefer a sponge.

I picked up a sample of the MAC reformulation and wore it today. I liked the old formula, but it always gave me trapped white heads. I thought I would love it, but I actually did not like this newer formula. It was too matte for my liking, emphasized pores, and clung to every peach fuzz piece of hair. It didn’t look good by the end of the day either. I won’t be purchasing. I have found absolutely nothing that beats the NARS Light Reflecting foundation. My skin looks so perfected, smooth, creamy, and healthy. Definitely get a sample before buying a full bottle. The shades are a little different too. I was an NW13 in the original, but had to get NW10 in the new.

She did say that MAC has tweaked their shades over the years too which certainly isn't helpful. We definitely saw that with the last foundation release when NC25 was dark and orange!

oh, the new clarins oils, i bought one and i think that they sadly changed the formulation, that does not applie the same and does not stay and hydrate at all like the other ones? what is your evaluation of them?🇨🇦

The video pretty much sums it up for me as far as application goes. They apply nicely, have the same scent, and wear nicely. I've only worn one of them for a long period of time so far but it didn't seem different. Still wear testing the others 💜

Without anything else I think the foundation matches your neck (which looks paler than face normally). I think it will work well once everything is done.

I can't curl my lashes. First my eyes are too deep set for every lash curler I've tried so my cheeks are in the way and it can't reach my lashes. Second when i have tried curling them, absolutely nothing happened 😂

I like the shade on you, but I could see it being a little light for summer.

I feel like the shade matched you perfectly. Perhaps you feel like you look pale because the red was covered up and the red gives color. It matches your neck perfectly.

IMO the shade of MAC foundation is too light for you.

The foundation is not that far from your neck tone, prob a step in either direction would be too far off. As a canvas it works fine with bronzer and blush.. The finish is lovely, not too matte , a natural level of luminescence like really healthy skin has.

I used to have a really nice curl to all 4 of my lashes hahaha but they're drooping as i get older.

I was so excited to receive and try the pink undereye powder from Pat McGrath, but I feel like it has a different, more powdery texture than the light and medium powders I have. It just is not flattering under my eyes no matter how I apply it. I'm pretty disappointed.

I find that more picks up on my brush, but it has the same very sheer, soft, silky texture. Have you tapped your brush off before application or worked it into the brush first? I find that helps with lots of finely milled powders.

@@StephanieMarie I've done both. I've tried a small amount on a puff and pressed it in as well and gone over the powder with a slightly damp sponge. No luck. Overall, it's not a big deal. I was just hoping I'd like it under my eyes as much as I like the Givenchy Prisme Libre powder in voile rose or the other Pat McGrath undereye setting powders, but I don't.

I have not liked a single setting powder. They all look d4y and crackled around my wrinkles, dry skin, and texture. That being said, I'm curious about the pat McGrath one.

I feel like the foundation is a tad bit to light and by summer will probably really be to light.

I do not see any redness or splotchy spots on your bare face. Maybe it's because I am so so red lol.

It’s how I lined my lips. I noticed it when I was editing. I didn’t notice anything different until that point unless it was, in fact, the plumping from the lip plumper I applied at the start or the ZIIP lips treatment I’ve been doing a couple of times a week. Lord knows it’s not filler. I’d surely get more in my top lip if it was. It’s deflated so much since my 20s 😩

Loving the matte version of Nars blush, I never cared for the original orgasm due to the sheen even when I was much younger. The persona liquid eyeshadows and bobbi brown liners also look promising. An Ulta just opened around the corner from me. Guess where I'm going? 😂
