The problem with the concealer flip stencil is that our eyes are rarely identically mirrored.

For the Micellar eyeliner hack, use a setting spray instead ! I’ve been doing that for years to make literally any eyeshadow a graphic liner!

I saw that tik tok for the liner hack and a MUA commented that setting spray instead of micellar water is better, since micellar is a soap and can ruin your eyeshadow overtime.

@@omegaux I spray my brush with setting spray and dip into eyeshadow and use it for eyeliner because I just can't get it with a pen/pencil and it stays in place all day! I need to wipe it quite a few times to get it off though cause it sticks so much!

Yup I also use setting spray with mine - works like a charm!

I tried that blush in sephora a few weeks ago, and one tiny dot covered my whole hand 🤣 The lady that worked there saw how shocked I was and just handed me a makeup wipe 😅 and I'm voting for lighter blonde hair, because I'm going blonde for spring too ☀️

I think we can all agree that soph has one of the best and most entertaining youtube channels (at least imo)

With the liner I scrape a little bit of the shade I want onto the back of a pallet or like a beauty card and mix it with setting spray ( I use the Urban Decay all nighter) This works wonders and lasts so long and very pigmented ! x

Ya, I was just coming on here to say the same. I’ve been using water with my eyeshadow to make eyeliner for years, and I’ve been told setting spray works just as well if not better. I like how it makes the liner just a touch softer than a typical gel or brush liner, and it saves me from buying different coloured liner pencils. It’s similar to how people wet their brush (either with water or setting spray) before they use a sparkly, metallic, or shimmer eye shadow on their lid. Both just bring out the pigmentation. I never would’ve thought to use micellar water though.

Is this even a hack? Using any liquid would make a powdered product into…liquid. Micellar water is probably THE worst option. Once it gets damp or oily throughout the day, it’s going to fail. Micellar water is made up of “micelles” which have two ends - one end is attracted to water, the other to oils. When your skin gets oily, those micelles will grab only the oil and break down your eyeliner. Using literally any other liquid - water, setting spray, Diet Coke, spit, LaCroix, tears, eye drops, etc. - would work better for durability.

I have been using this concealer hack I saw Robert Welsh highlight in a react video. I do eye cream/moisturizer than my concealer and very very lightly powder. I have found that buy moisturizing my under eye beforehand it is not as dry and therefore doesn't crease. I love it. I wish I could remember the original person's video he showcased but they were a MUA and it totally worked.

love thiss your hair looks amazing at the moment and will probably lighten up in summer anyways but if you really miss the blonde maybe just do some subtle highlights in summer

Doesn’t work if you’re south Asian and have very dark nipples compared to your skin colour! But a great tip if you’re Caucasian I agree

I use a mixing medium or I have even done water. I love how tik tok makes everything old seem brand new.

I'm a newish subscriber and concealer will crease on the eyelids. A true eye primer is great for preventing creasing or a pot concealer! Another tip you can use a colored eye primer or pot concealer for your under eyes with that technique ☺️

I have been dipping my brush into regular water and then eyeshadow to make a liner for a very long time. It lasts forever and isn't as harsh as a gel or liquid liner.

You should try Lancôme RÉNERGIE LIFT foundation! I think you’ll love it. It’s my favorite so far this year.

i've actually been using the liner hack for a while and didn't know it was a thing, but i use rose water instead :)

Concealer on my eyelids creases as it is much more emollient and hydrating. I don’t get that with eye primer. The Beauty Bay eye primer is amazing not to wet and not too dry.

I tried today the eyeshadow for liner technique and it does work, it's kinda cool ! But on me it did smudge quite a bit, I think with a strong setting spray it might be better

i use the smashbox 24h eye primer before my concealer and it stops creasing for me!! i have super oily eyelids too x

Inglot has a product called duraline that is designed to be used as you're using the micellar water, but has the durability of an actual liquid liner. Can recommend 🥰

I have fallen in love with the blush hack... (i use the milk stick blushes) instead of using my inner hand I use the outside of the heel of my hand and it is great for a. warming the blush before I put it on my face and b. making sure I blend and put it on perfectly symetrical.

The mixing water with powder thing reminds me...when I was starting to use make up in the mid/late 90’s and sneaked into my lovely mums make up kit she *still* had a Mary Quant cake mascara block from the 70’s that you had to mix with water then apply with a wand! She later told me girls used to spit into their mascara block to mix and apply when they were on a night out! How times have changed🤣 x

I've always seen setting spray used instead of micellar water! Would be curious to see a comparison of the two. And of course duraline would be best but most people don't have that laying around.

Setting spray probably works better over all just because of what it is chemically. Also since Micellar water is a surfactant it would definitely ruin your eyeshadow pan over time unless you scrape powder off into a separate place to mix it. Setting spray for the win, for sure!

Roxi tried the eyeliner concealer stamp hack and got it to work really well. Probably just takes some finesse but it can work lol.
