Here's a big question: Since elder guardians guard an underwater temple, it leaves me to believe that the massive elder guardian might be guarding the underwater hole. Or could it be guarding something else?

Honestly I think this was meant to be part of the ocean update but they didn’t finish coding it and then decided it would be too hard and instead put in the ocean monument.. That might just be the world they were working with and didn’t think anyone would find that world
