Been looking at this machine for about a week. Wasn't going to be hasty and jump right in since I'm a newbie to the whole laser printing thing. But that address sign was so beautiful and just watching you guys work your magic inspired me. Decided to pull the trigger even before the video was done. And man, was I pleasantly surprised that not only did I get the 10 yr anniversary price, but another sizable chunk off using your discount code. Oh happy day.

I found myself critiquing your work. Then i thought to myselft, why am I doing that? They're doing their thing. I'm not. My apologies. Respect. Inspired.

No worries! We try our best but most of the time we are still learning. :)
I can imagine that the different shiny can be the cause of grease from finger, different degree of humidity or overlooked oils from where do I know (storage or from factory production). Thanks for the inspiring video!

NICE ! You may not need brighter leds... try pulling the interior pieces out and increasing reflectivity and or contrast. You can experiment by putting some polished aluminum foil strips beside leds to get more light reflected in backdrop.. if that works you can glue some around periphery or get the reflective Stainless Steel duct tape as a stick on around leds. Polishing background metal or painting it may add more contrast too...

Thx so much for the tips! :)
Looks great, and this is likely a bad idea: but maybe metallic paint and/or clear coat on the backdrop and edges of the #s might pop in the light

Thanks for the tips! Maybe I'll try that in a future project :)
Great job, could it be than lifting the words and numbers up more from the metal base and allowing space could allow better use of light bouncing it from the bottom to the front allowing the written part to " glow" better? Again, just a suggestion, good on you, great job and use of your laser cutter.

444 thumbs up? David444 approves and I am happy you went on youtube like I suggested. You will both be a huge hit because of who you are! I am moving around from Beaver Valley to Sedona to the U.A. Congrats on your success! Wish I could share a home made beer in my cabin again but maybe Octoberfest in Germany someday!

Kann ich mir schön vorstellen mit indirekter Beleuchtung.
I'm looking to buy this laser but can't find any information on if the rotary attachment works with this unit. How does it fit with the enclosure?

I'm not sure about that! I will have to check and see.
Good job! It came out wonderful. I got offer to buy one for "just paying $60 shipping and post video," but that seemed like a scam.

Thank you so much!! You never know these days with all the internet scams going around.
Nice job. I'm shocked that a 22W can cut so thick of a piece of wood without burning down the house. :-)

I guess so!
How difficult would it be to do this if you've got zero knowledge on laser cutters or the programs to do this? I'm wanting to get into it but I'm that one who has got ideas in his head, with hopes and dreams but never used a laser cutter or any program used to use one. How hard is it to learn how to get my hopes and dreams sliced into reality by one of these machines? Are they easy?

I had no knowledge of how to use lasers before I started. There's a ton of good youtube videos on how to use LightBurn and how to set up the laser. With a little bit of research, it's not too hard to learn. It just takes a little bit of time but definitely doable.
