"Testing the Limits of the Engwe Engine Pro - MTB Trail Test"

I was wondering how this bike would be on a real MTB Trail, so I put it on one to give it a Mountain bike Trail Stress Test.

    As a owner of Engine Pro I'd say bikes biggest problem in trails are low ground clearance on pedals, even on "smooth" city streets I often find myself scraping the road with them.

    I got 3 mtb trails near my house, can't wait for my Engine Pro to arrive so I can hit the trails with it, I'll have fun and be laughing like you are all the way haha! I remember how much fun I had doing them with a mtb, also laughing out loud when I almost fell or hit something but didn't. I will probably get a lot of nasty looks but haters gonna hate...

    nothing wrong about that, ENGWE basically advertise the bike as mountain bike, look at their website there is not a single picture driving this bike on normal road in the city. it should handle this much with full suspension and fat tires, but i would change the handlebar and front suspension if this was the main purpose of the bike. btw from what i heard the battery inside is loose you might want to stuff some foam in there or something.

  • @scotthardesty

    @scotthardesty

    10 ай бұрын

    Yes, in most of these bikes with the battery that is in the frame like this, I have to put a thin strip of foam to keep the battery from rattling. I know people give this bike some hate but I totally enjoyed it.

    Loved this video , 👍 Well done for making it around in one piece . Your one brave guy to ride the Engwe Pro with those handlebars . As a MK1 2021 Engwe Pro owner , I ditched them as soon as I could , replaced them with BMX bars, gave them better control . Now ride 3400 miles around various trails in Scotland fingers crossed 🤞

    I have some questions you might know the answers to. 1, how comfortable is the seat? I am 270lbs so heavier than you, and on my current hardtail normal MTB, the seat is like concrete and definitely puts me off long rides. 2, do you have to lock your arms out to reach the handle bars? On my current bike, the handle bars are so low and far away, my arms are locked out and my neck hurts after 5 minutes trying to look up. Do you reckon if someone said ride this for an hour, you could? 3, How did the tires feel? Did they feel grippy? I have very grippy tires on my MTB right now and it's a big point for me to have tires that grip up.

    I did a full review on this bike. I am hoping that you can get your questions answered via that. You can see how I am sitting on the bike. I was also on that bike for hours and was fine, I believe I talk about the seat at the end.

    I have a few videos of me taking my Aventure 1 on MTB Trails of various types. I do believe it would do well on this trail as well. I probably would have tried some of the things I didn't try with this bike due to the bigger play in the front fork. Here is the link for the 152mm Crank arms. GANOPPER MTB Crankset 152mm.
