Third test of the durability of the Huina 1578 1:10 scale trailer also testing my home made towing hitch which is attached to the Huina 1573 tipper truck, it will also give an indication of the trucks pulling power.
I could not think of a better way to put this to the test but with my shiny new Huina1580 1:14 scale all metal excavator.
The 1580 proved to be a little bit to much for the trailer but the towing hitch held up.

I have watched your three test videos of the modified trailer hitch and the Huina trailer. The 1580 really did put it to the test with it's weight. great video.

A little heavy you say? good job, you may have to make some out-riggers for the trailer, and did you sand the tyres down "on the truck" to take the smoothness of them to give you more grip, but at least you have found the trailer limits.

Hi John, the digger is a heavy unit. Its a good idea but I think an going to go with a low loader trailer eventually, thanks for the comments as always John.
You need to print or find something to set under back of trailer to keep it from tipping.
