I found this video incredibly helpful. No one deserves to get early access to this than you, you are my go to for anything walkabout mini golf. I saw the pre order thing the other day when I was playing and I was debating it. I didn't know that you could calibrate it so that it is further down, that cleared up my concerns. Will more than likely be preordering one

the Yerzo weighted golf club attachment is the best one i've found. its made of metal and has a threaded piece that tightens the remote in place very securely. the weights are adjustable too so its pretty damn good and feels great for all clubs in Golf+

I was considering getting this a few weeks ago, this sealed the deal!

So, the Grip-to-put says they're sold out and they now recommend the ProSwing Golf 2.0 setup. Have you used this, or done a review on it? I have the Quest 3 and the Q3 version looks a bit strange to me. Not sure how well it works...

I Got a Yogos putter handle, still have to push the buttons but, I like it!!! It has made my putting way

Thanks, great to get some real insight. I have shyed away from any kind of attachment apart some awful 3D printered one mainly because I love the grip to putt option.

Thanks for the review! i've been eagerly awaiting mine as I ordered on day 1. Looking forward to learning a slight variation on the skillset I already have/am working on! On a separate note, have you ever considered doing a series of videos on efficient play for the courses? I enjoy the hole in one videos, but don't attempt hole in ones most of the time as I prefer a more natural pace of game, where some of the holes in one require play that would not really fit in with a regular mini-golf round (I mostly play with my father who doesn't care about holes in one, and just prefers to improve his play overall). I have my own way of approaching most holes, but would be interested in seeing how other folks approach them as well during the average game.

Great job. I bought a different product, and didn't like it..... Sigh.... I guess this is gonna cost me money. Thank you for including the Golf Plus info.... I like that game a lot, but I see almost no talk about it.... Great Job Sir. Sadly, a lot of my friends I used to play with, don't play anymore... So I've kind of dropped out.... I golf irl, and putting was always my weakness.... so I had always hoped this would help my putting... but then a hurricane hit us, and all the courses & driving ranges were closed.... And in the meantime, I took up Pickleball.... sigh... so anyways, yeah, I've barely messed around with golf lately.... But, that has nothing to do with how great this video is, or how great all your videos are.... thank you.

I’d love to try pickleball but haven’t yet, looks like a lot of fun. Golf+ is hard to make content on for a few reasons, and I’ve often thought of branching out to it but it’ll be a lot of work. It’s a great full-swing experience, and I’ve almost accepted it permanently as a replacement for ‘real’ golf. Sad to hear you’ve dropped off playing, maybe you could find some new regulars on the discord?

I had one of their attachments before they released the weight and grip to putt ability. Unfortunately the screw that attached the shaft to the cup kept coming loose and eventually broke through the cup base almost causing my controller to go flying. I found the grip to not be a real life golf grip, it's not rubber and they used to claim it was very grippy and repelled hand sweat, which wasn't true. I did like the twist lock system, it worked really well. But the hollow plastic shaft made it all too light and hard for the screw to hold. They made some modifications later on but I ended up getting my money back, minus shipping of course which kind of sucked. I'm not convinced their weight system helps that much as the center of gravity with it is more in the center than at the end, while a real golf club center of gravity is at the end. I do think their grip to putt attachment for it is a great idea but not a fan of so much 3D printed material because it eventually breaks. I've had two of my four 3D printed Deadeye attachments break and really liked them with the steal shafts but the 3D printing is always the weak point. But the controller wiggle you talk about with the Deadeye is easy to fix by putting a rubber band around the controller grip or foam inside the cup and the problem is solved. Then I tried the RM Designs v2 and really liked it even though it's 3D printed however it doesn't use a cup design and I liked how the weight was at the very end, there is no way the 3D printed controller holder can break. But now my favorite is the Yezro 90 degree attachment because it's all metal and perfectly weighted.

I think it’s cool, but hard to justify. Walkabout already feels so good without a putter attachment. I’ll also get annoyed really fast when I want to fly around or hit the pause menu and have to turn around my whole putter.

Im really hesitant to use kne kf these i think ill smack a wall or table or something

I nearly bought this for PSVR2 but then remembered that I took off my lanyard straps a long time ago and likely threw them away

Hello there, I know you stated they were planning an attachment for the PSVR. Did they only give a round about time frame later this year or was there a more definitive date?

There is no way only the initial impact is measured. My grandma angles the club at least 15 degrees away from the angle the ball goes. As she does irl, she pushes the ball along a small length of the club adjusting its angle before it's left contact. Her ball almost never goes at the same angle her club is pointing due to this. Both in-game and irl. The game applies force to the ball until the ball is no longer in contact with the club. It is simple not possible to recreate my grandmas putting style otherwise.

I wasn’t sure an adaptor was going to work for me in VR after my experience with the DeadEye version, but this really impressed me. I should have know WMG wouldn’t put their name to anything if it was quality approved

How long before PSVR2 is released? I know it will take a complete design overhaul, due to its shape. Nice stats and with diagrams, professional even and true. As is ppl adjusting weights on actual golf clubs for the same reasoning. The weight placement with the grip wud add to the immersion for sure and I see it as gud purchase, personally.

It’s not too bad, you get used to bringing the controller part closer to you for that. Flying is a little more tricky, but I find that staying grounded helps the immersion anyway

Hi, Me and a friend have bought the putter from Hello Real, and have both bought and have the Quest 3. Loads of issues here as the tracking does not work on the 3 as it should do. Hello Real have said that they are aware of the tracking issue and still label it Quest 3 compatible when it is clearly not. We both follow your channel especially when new courses have come out and find your KZread channel is our first port of call to get the latest from the developers Mighty Coconut. My question to you, do you know if the tracking is anything to do with the game or just the controllers not working properly on this game. Even without the putter attachment, the controllers still misbehave on tracking. Its very annoying as we both have played this game from the start and still enjoy it today. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there. I’ve also got the Q3 and I’m experiencing similar issues. The attachment accepts the controller but the tracking has problems. It doesn’t appear to be game specific as it also occurs in Golf+ for me. It seems at least partially connected to the fact that the Q3 uses hand tracking to support sensors on the controller when tracking controller movement. Therefore when it picks up hands on the grip, and the controller further down, it gets a mixed reading. I have found it is improved slightly by turning off hand tracking, but notice that it still tries to follow my hand if I move it away from the grip and controller. I think a bigger fix from Meta will be needed to solve this one

Looks interesting! Can you offer an opinion on how it works one-handed? Maybe it's just me, but when I need a strong swing I prefer a one-handed polo type swing (bad shoulder).

It’s weighty (around 500g fully loaded) but very well balanced. The grip has enough friction to protect whatever is in your room from accidental slippage. Depends if you feel the increased pendulum effect would help a swing like that, or if you’d miss the sudden adjustment capability of a light controller

I have it, but I don't find it fun because I have to reach my controller after every hit to teleport to my ball. If you know how to stop this, that would be great

AMVR attachment the far far better Option!

If you buy this, if you decide to do the payment plan, make sure its truly selected. Mine glitched out on the site, and got charged the full amount in one go. I believe this is an issue with the site itself, not the actual product.

I’m not sure yet, I guess it depends on the controller shape, but the end grip is meant to be swappable as far as I’m aware

This looks so good but the $14 dollar shipping cost plus tax is prohibative to me. Bummer.

For what its worth, I was able to avoid shipping by adding 2 inexpensive things to my cart (which also happened to be on sale) and when u first visit the website they give u a 15% off coupon that stacks with sales and then ultimately gave me free shipping. I wouldn't have done it if I didn't do this but I got a screaming deal all said and done

I would _much_ rather just turn off grip to putt and have that lever push the main trigger. I don't know how I could use this attachment when I pull that trigger ten times per minute...

I agree about the trigger. I think when it was first launched there was talk of a button functionality swap, not sure if that’s still a potential future mod

Is the elephant in the room here the inaccessibility of the other buttons for movement? I can't imagine you use the second controller in the other hand for movement because that same hand is presumably being used for two-handed putting with the putter attachment.

Overkill. The quest controllers are perfectly fine as they are. I understand the concept for a more realistic feel, BUT it's absolutely unnecessary. I prefer the path of simplicity & the Quest controllers offer that simplicity/balance.
