I love my Breville Kitchen Wizz Pro (Australian), I have had it for over 10 years now and it is a huge help in my kitchen. Mine came with a seperate container with all the attachments and my slicer can be adjusted to 24 different thicknesses. At one stage you seemed annoyed with the Breville, I was tossing up between the Magimix and Breville but the Breville has a 2000 wat motor compared to the Magimix which was 700 wat.

I had bought a KitchenAid, which is a brand I trusted, but ending up returning it after one day because the motor stalled on almonds. I just received my breville yesterday. I peeled a while bag of potatoes, and picked up a knife to chip them, when I remembered it came with a French fry cutter. I tried it, and couldn't believe it. I dropped two potatoes at a time in the chute and before I could blink, they were cut. The thing is amazing!

I've got an ancient Japanese made Cuisinart that I bought used for $25. about 15 years ago - still runs great. Mostly use it for grinding and making nut butters. Modified it to override all the safety stuff companies are forced to build in to avoid lawsuits but makes things harder to use. Now I can put the blade on the shaft without the bowl and fire it up. Don't try that at home. (: Great video by the way and I love the kitchen design. How about panning around it for about 10 seconds so we can see the whole thing.

If you need that big a food processor (which most do not), look at a Robocoup and get it over with. The combo ones that have a straight through cutting path are so much more convenient for slicing, dicing, and then you can save the use of the bowl for things it's better suited for. Yeah, probably 2-3 times the price, but they are commercial quality, and parts are readily available if they are ever needed. Any of these things, all it takes is a model redesign and a something breaking means you toss it out.

I have one of the high-end Cuisinart food processors, I believe the package was ~$500 and looks like the one tested in this video. My biggest complaint about it is the lid they have changed to. It has an inner spring loaded seal that you cannot take apart. Ease of cleaning is a big factor for me and the Cuisinart is an epic fail in that regard in my opinion. I rarely ever take it out of the cabinet.

@@yosavite_savv I’m seeing this on a lot of other videos, not just this one, and I don’t think the spammy comments are anything to do with Breville. There’s some speculation on this Whirlpool forum thread, here’s one comment that seems like a reasonable explanation: _‘As a guess.... Spammers are trying to undermine the KZread algorithm used to detect spammer/illegitimate accounts. Thus, by making several comments on legit videos without spam, it allows their spam comments to stay for longer, or their “like” or “subscription” to a channel to count when they “like” or “subscribe” to their master’s account.’_ forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/9x25qkk9 Of course it’s impossible to reach a human at KZread to point this out, and flagging any of them as spam without being able to explain the bigger issue is largely a waste of time. Ultimately I don’t think KZread cares in the least, it’s all ad revenue after all!

There are too many unnecessary part/accessories and washing. If I would buy food processor again, I would go with cuisinart and with little to none accessories and washing. Good that breville has a really good customer service, as my bowl crackes on the first use and I got replacement after sending some photos. But I like your reviews a lot, keep it up.

Ah I wish you could have done onions. They are an every day ingredient in indo-pak cuisine and the main reason I’m looking for a decent food processor. But despite that, demo was very helpful. Thank you.

I skip the videos where they only show the products and really don’t demonstrate how well the products work!! not very helpful!! You taking the time and effort to show others how the products work is very helpful when having to choose which product to buy !! Highly appreciate your demonstration !! Nice job!! Thanx

Given that the Cuisinart is pretty cheap while not really being that big a slouch and that most home cooks don't use these things every day, I could live with pulsing the carrots and almonds a little more for $100 less. But, not a bad job showing how they need to up their feed design relative to the Breville. (Brev makes great stuff, but, I tend to think it's often over priced)

I’m surprised the cuisinart 14 cup food processor wasn’t in this video. Almost every website recommends that as the top machine. My dad has one and I jsut got one and I love it. Give it a look if you want a no frills food processor that can handle a lot!

Yeah, that'd give them all a pretty even footing on price too. Picking the "cheap" Cuisinart and saying its not stacking up to the more expensive processors it's older more powerful sibling competes with was a strange choice.

I just bought the Cuisinart 14 cup model for under $100 on deal of the day special. In my opinion, it's questionable if it's worth that much. I'm going to return it and buy a Breville. Better build quality, better engineering, better results.

Oops. I already bought the Cuisinart 11 cup model. But it was a bit over 100 bucks so I'm ok with it. Might upgrade to the Breville at some point. In the meantime, I'm getting good results. Thanks for posting this comparison. Where I live, in Taipei, only the Cuisinart is available and offers a 2 year warranty, So for 100 bucks, what could go wrong? :)

Thank you so much. I never even considered a Breville before. My only hesitation is that I don't need these big capacity models. So I'm not sure if the results would be the same.

@@madthumbs1564 I have my expensive knife to. And I use it daily still. But the food processor is great for me to. I prefer mincing garlic ect with the small bowl vs my knife. And the dice kit has made making stuff like breakfast casserole super easy and quick. I get everything same size in matter of seconds just throw in my ham potatoes onions and ready to go. It's a convenience. And from what I've read will last a life time. With that said if had to pick between the two my expensive Chefs knife would win. I love it. But this is great when in hurry or making freezer meals.

The KitchenAid Pro Line Series came down in price ... now at $300.00. But I decided to get the Breville due to customer satisfaction. Just hope nothing goes wrong ... it appears when things go wrong it may take some time to get it fixed ...
