I have a question boys (well for Robert)- What do I do if my brow products won’t stick to my make up or naturally oily skin? I’ve tried alcohol wipes before and tried powder. i literally put together a very similar package - all the snacks they mentioned on the double cleanse (BTW I will never call them goldfish again, they are only goldenfish, and i also got the Disney ones, obv) and then a bunch of fun American Halloween stuff, and then i went to the post office and the shipping cost was over $100!!! I have to agree with James. It looks like he’s wearing blush. It doesn’t look like a natural flush, but it wasn’t really his color either in my opinion.

The extra eyebrow on the forehead thing reminds me of one time with my son, I said I need more eyebrows (they've never recovered from the 90s), and my son was like you should draw on a whole new set so I added a second set on my forehead and we cry laughed for about an hour.

the lip liner thing: by pressing their lips together that tightly, they're applying it the the top and bottom at the same time by pressing it directly against the seam of the lips. like >} with the > being the point of the lip liner. only downside really is it ignores a person's natural cupid's bow if they have a more pronounced one.

I interpret that lipstick hack as stretching the lips so you only do one smooth line for over-lining rather than keeping them relaxed and feeling like you have to go over every bump and valley of your lips especially in the Cupid’s bow area lol

Agreed, I’ve been doing a wing 3-5 days/week for nearly a decade and can now do it under a minute and most days (everyone has an off day lol) it looks great! Everyone once in awhile someone asks me how I do it so nice or what the “trick” is but it’s literally just find a liner type you like and then do it every day 🤷🏻‍♀️

true! I'm relatively new to eyeliner (started January, but I rarely go out anyway) and I used to take forever to make my eyeliner proper. now it can look decent in just a few minutes. with more practice, I hope I can make all sorts of eyeliner styles precisely and quickly

I agree. Also if you need a little help tape is probably the worst thing to use. When I was an MUA professionally and my clients told me they needed help with winged liner I used to give them one of my business cards and show them how to use that instead of tape to get a clean line.

I use to watch James last year literally on the weekly, I never knew that Robert existed... sorry, till this year he popped up in my suggestions and I was like “why the fuck does he look different” I literally scrolled through the thumbnails to the very first video on his channel looking for an explanation and I found that he looked in the first video has he did in his last and I thought I was experiencing a Mandela effect. This video popping up just blew my mind and stabilized my reality at the same time.

I've seen that lip hack a couple times already, and apparently it's meant to make your lips bigger/nicer. You hide your lips as much as you can, then draw their new shape with lip pencil and just fill everything in. That's why you make your lips so thin, to properly overline them. But don't ask me if it works, my lips are naturally so thin, that every effort to overline them looks comedic xd

Overlining always looks terrible in person. It works on camera where you can control the lighting but IRL you can ALWAYSSSSSS tell. And its horrible.

I always make the mistake of watching your videos together in bed while my kid naps next to me... the whole bed is shaking from me laughing.

The one where you apply lipliner/lipstick with your lips pressed together, isn't that to help you overdraw the lips more evenly and easier? That's what I always thought. I feel like it helps me get a better result, and that it looks overall more smooth because the skin is more tight than if my lips are relaxed. When I'm done, I relax my lips and do any touch ups, and then fill in the rest of my lips.

Making it easier to over line but also when she goes for the middle strokes it looks like she's doing the top and bottom lip at the same time with top and bottom sides of the pencil. That's why she's rolling her lips out a little at a time throughout the application?

I usually feel so stressed when watching people fight on camera (even when it's just very clearly fake fighting), but with these two I just find it hilarious.

Yeah I gave up on foundation a long time ago. I feel like foundation makes my skin unable to breathe which triggers my rosacea and it glows through and looks purple
