Testing out the New Truck Camper (with my GF)

Howdy everyone! As most of you are probably already aware, I recently got a new (used) truck camper as well as a larger super duty truck. In today's video, my girlfriend Tessa and I go on a short one night trip in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest to test it out! As you'll see in the video, we really loved it.

A big game changer for those camper ovens is to get a pizza stone and place it on top of the burner plate, it will make the oven not have a hot spot in the middle and be more accurate with temp. Sweet camper! Opens a whole new door for adventures

So happy to see you and Tessa using your new trailer!!! Just a little tip (I hope its not tmi!) When you use your toilet for #2 you want to fill the bowl with water before you go, there is a way to use the water flush on the toilet that doesn't open the trap so the bowl fills up., then it will flush better for you when you are done! Also RV toilet paper is best if you don't want to have any clogs! Enjoy the go lol! Safe travels!!!

That was the most delightful and special little camping overnight stay. It was GREAT seeing Tessa and I do HOPE she comes along more often. You guys are so ADORABLE together. It's so much FUN to watch you two interact and to see how wonderfully compatible you are. The cooking will be exemplary in that nice wonderful shell, and now that you have an oven AND a stove, WOW, that's the best of all worlds. It'll especially come in handy in the winter time when it'll warm the rig with wonderful smells of excellent things you're cooking or baking. Cozier than being forced to cook outdoors with the bugs, wind and rain you've endured. Cooking outside once in a while is fun, but can be trying. Plus, there's a bathroom, absolutely a plus!!!! Once you get used to it you'll never want to be without it. Sometimes just spending time together in a beautiful place and relaxing, is all that's necessary, nothing better. That shell is so nice you could live in it if you had to. CONGRATULATIONS on something nice, long overdue, and extremely well deserved. 😊❤

Keep at it Tess, I just got back literary yesterday from the PNW and visited Washington Parks and Oregon Parks with my girlfriend and we had a blast traveling around in a StoryTeller Van I rented. I wanted to make the trip more approachable for my girlfriend since we were travelling from New York. We've done this area before in a Subaru Outback before road tripping across the U.S. and it was just as great. But we didn't have the time to travel across U.S. this time, which is fun as well, Glad to see that the rig is solid... Keep going on the journeys Tess, share the experiences and enjoy together😊

Cottage cheese is awesome with fruit cocktail - just be sure to drain off all the liquid before adding it to the cheese or you'll end up with a soupy mess. Best baked potatoes I've ever eaten were prepared in the oven of an RV - the skin was done perfectly and the flesh of the potato was nice and soft. Don't know if you've ever seen or used them, but potato spikes will make them cook more evenly and quickly - they look like a giant nail that you put through the potato lengthwise - you can find them in the kitchen department of stores.
