Testing out my HobbyWing Programming Card Hack... well almost.
Фильм және анимация
So in the beginning I had a great idea to test out my cool new hack. Well in this video I do that just fine. Well maybe not "just fine" per se, but just barely tested.?? So with great intensions I head out to the concrete pad right after some grocery shopping. On the way I encountered a Sunday rain shower which lasted only a moment or two. Only two miles separate me and the rain shower of death, so I have 5 minutes to run this truck... or so I thought.

You know that's right.!! Thanks my brother.!
That looked well controlled!! One thing I would try, because you've got 2 Motors... Leave 1 Brake at 12.5%, but raise the other Motor to 25%. You may need more braking at some point... This will insure that you have a bit more Braking power, without overkill.

Thankfully.!! 🌩⛈🌩
Man I think it's going to be hard to get this to go as fast as you want it to. The chassis gear train was made to run with those huge tires and a tire lets say 4" going to 5" tall does a lot more than changing pinions and spur gears. do this mark the bottom of your slick tire on a table and roll it one full turn and mark the table with tape start to one full rotation of the slick and measure the distance it goes in one full turn and then do the same with your stock max tire see how many inches they go now multiply that length lets just say by 30,000Rpm and see just how much more the larger tires travel with this example. I think the key to the speed is to be running the same size tires as the max came with.👍

You are definitely on to something here Steve. Wheel size has EVERYTHING to do with the speed of the car. I am currently looking for bigger wheels that can hold up to the abuse... any ideas.? Also. I am a sucker for formulas and I can't wait to check out the cool wheel size formula you sent my way.!! Keep you posted. 😎👍 and many thanks for the great info.!
